The location - only a few minutes walk from the train station and the QV Building and other attractions. The one bedroom apartment was clean and tidy and spacious with a well stocked kitchen. It was very comfy indeed.

The location is perfect for exploring Sydney. The apartments are large and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was on the newer side. The back alley at times can be a bit noisy due to the single pane windows. Woke up a few times to drunks and garbage trucks but the price was right and I would definitely stay here again.

While a lot of Aussie hotels don't have front-desk staff, Madison Carrington has Dovile, an attentive manager who offers a nice East European touch to this boutique hotel. I owe her a lot for making me feel settled and safe during my long stay waiting out the pandemic.

Property was central to CBD and public transport, easy walking to bars & restaurants; apartment was large, clean and well-equipped. Good communication with reception/management re: changed hours at front desk & check-in over Easter weekend. Old lifts were a little scary to ride in though.

Very good location, easy to get to from the Airport or Cruise Terminal. Many attractions within walking distance. Apartment was clean with a nicely equipped kitchen. Our unit faced the alley. So there was unite a bit of noise in the evening from service trucks and garbage trucks. Sliding door on balcony had a broken lock.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment for one night on the June long weekend. The unit was fabulous. Had recently been re furbished and was pleasant and comfortable and modern Bed was really comfortable, great blockout curtains. We had a side building apartment so no view but street front apartments in the city are always noisy so I’m happy with that. Wynyard Station 50m up the street 5min walk to Pitt St Mall and great shopping. Wish I had booked for another night and will definitely stay again when coming to the city. Five stars in my view for location, price and comfort.

We got a 2 bedroom unit and friends were in a 1 room next door. Both were massive, with a kitchen and eating area and ours even had a second toilet. Service was great. Close to everything, we could walk everywhere. Only down side was the outside noise of people walking the streets and yahooing and the garbage truck. Although this is an older property the rooms have had a refurb and are fantastic quality, but being an older building the windows are not double glazed for noise. Im a light sleeper though. Still enjoyed the stay here.

Was a good property in a good location. Was given after hours check in as I was arriving after 9pm. Luckily that I arrived a bit earlier than expected as the card did not work, I was then given a plastic card to enter the room. The next day used the cards to come and go. I then returned at 11pm that night to find that none of the cards worked and I had to call their security company and wait 30 minutes from them to arrive, check my ID and let me into my room. The next morning there was no one at reception, I left my details with my card and was call by a clerk, I explained the situation and was told a manager would be in contact. I am yet to be contacted by the manager.

Property location was great and the apartment itself was spacious and well appointed, HOWEVER, the apartemnt had not been cleaned very well. There were un washed trays and crumbs in the oven and drawers under the oven. There was spilled sugar on the bench tops. Under thebeds and lounges there were items and wrappers that had been overlooked. The balcony was disgustingly filthy with cobwebs, a dead plant and dust and debri. None of the doors or balcony glass had been cleaned and were smeared with fingerprints. The coffee table in the loungeroom was dirty. As it was after hours on the Friday and over the weekend there was no one available at the reception desk. Overall the apartment was great, but the cleaners need to be sacked....

Although it's an old building and not as dressed up" as other places the room was perfect the staff extremely friendly and accommodating the manager or owner I spoke to was an absolute gem.

The room had very poor sound approve therefore is very noise that I can’t rest. Bathroom ceiling has dusty and rubbish under the basin cabinet.
