Absolutely gorgeous place and set up so well with every possible activity and convenience in the home. Several beach areas in walking distance and lots of places to see within easy driving distance too. Highly recommend a trip to Dutchmen’s in Sicamous for an ice cream treat too!

The property was exactly as listed. We were looking for a place for our girls getaway where we could just hole up for a few days and relax. This was the perfect place for that :) so perfect we already booked again to go next year!

We wanted to stay with our family of 6 adults for the week before our grand baby is born. This was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Very close to the lake and was perfect for paddle boarding and kayaking. Love this property may book for next year. Absolutely no complaints! 10/10

Great family getaway

Our stay at the property was very enjoyable. The property had everything to keep us entertained. It was clean and comfortable and we wouldn't hesitate to rent this home again.

The house was absolutely beautiful and exactly like the picture's show on the listing. We all loved the property setting and more then enough outdoor seating. What a lovely place.

We have never been to the area and we were all so happy when we arrived. The home and the grounds were even better in person. There was everything we needed for a weekend away. Thank you for an incredible weekend!

Amazing Property & Great Host Experience

The property has so much stuff to do, from the hot tub to pool/ping pong, 2 fire pits, it was an amazing time for us on our golf trip. The host is very responsible and accommodating. We will be back for sure!

Our stay at Danielle’s place was unfortunately a bit underwhelming. The pros:The house is open in the main living area and the yard provides a lot of shade. There are lots of games, a pool table, a top for the ping pong table etc. The beds were comfortable. The cons:I find it hard that this is listed as an executive house. It’s more of a regular house that arguably needs some attention. There was dog hair in the house and covering our pillows when we left, surprising as this is a pet free listing. There was dog poop in the backyard. One of the elements on the stove didn’t work due to it being cracked and a knob was missing. There isn’t a fly swatter to be found to ward off the bugs. Both of the toilet paper rolls fell off the wall (we repaired one but left the other), one towel rack fell off the wall. There was moss growing out of the gutters and a drain spout missing. The kids playhouse is missing the stairs to climb up like it shows in the photos (I was really excited about this for my 2 year old). We found the missing pool ball in the plants. There was garbage and items left behind the outdoor bar. There are no chairs that could be used to take down to the beach. I appreciate that the family uses this house, but in a rental it almost feels a bit strange to have a full wall of family photos. Overall we made the best of our time, but for the price tag, we felt a bit disappointed for what we got.

Family get away

Renting planning and coordination went well one big problem was the electronic entry did not work on last night locking us out in the cold after nine and there was no quick solution VRBO office could not help finally reached owner 1/2 hour later and started a hunt for a key in an adjacent building

Location location location

Beautiful property, comfy beds, close to amenities, super close to beach. There was some confusion as to beds available but the home owner responded quickly when contacted. Hot tub was set to boil and the panel wasn’t working to adjust the temperature. It wasn’t the main point of our visit so it didn’t matter. The home owner responded to our queries on that as well but it’s obviously something that would need to be fixed at a later time. The house was pretty clean, the beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked with enough cooking items to make our meals. The fire pit was awesome for what we wanted to do which was catch up with family.

Perfect Getaway

Stayed a week with my sister and a friend we had such a relaxing week! Everything was a described we had zero issues with anything. I loved the back yard it was so private used it for reading and enjoying the nice weather, the hot tub was a definite bonus for me used it daily. Would definitely recommend and stay again, thank you for the great experience!

Beautiful getaway!

if you have never experienced Mara Lake or Sicamous this is your chance to finally do it. As it is the most beautiful place you can imagine year round. We were there in October and the weather was amazing. Spent 3 nights with our long time friends enjoying the home we stayed in. The time was spent making dinners, enjoying wine and playing games. Oh ya not to mention the hit tub and fire pit outside that backs on to the stream that goes into the Lake, that is in waking distance a block away. Thanks to Danielle for the help with anything we needed and her quick response to few questions we did have. Will do this again! Wil G

Great accomodation!

This is a great accommodation on a quiet location. There are tons of trees on the property that help keep the area cool. The large wrap around deck was amazing with lots of seating options. Our family loved the stay and are glad we booked here.

Beautiful property!

Our stay at this property was amazing. Danielle very diligently followed with me to ensure seamless check-in. Once we got there, the property was serene, clean and amazing. Short walk to the lake and close to town. Felt disconnected as well since there is only smart TV on the property.

Swansea Point Home

Great home and super communication with the property owner. The picture on the web site clearly match and highlight this property. We were 2 families with 4 teens. Everyone had a place to themselves and our together time inside or outside on the patios was comfortable and well appointed. The access to the beach was down the street. If you get there early you can set up and be ready for the day. We also moored our boat just off the beach. A little swim to and from was refreshing. We highly recommend.
