"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Metro Hotel. I picked it because it was close to the Castro Theater and the film festival I was attending, but I was also delighted to find that there were numerous restaurants of all kinds nearby and many shops, even a pet store across the street. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room always clean. There is no elevator, however, so if you need one, this is not the place for you. This is a charming hotel that makes for a very pleasant stay."

"The Grove Inn was great for a quick trip into San Francisco. Close enough to the area. Be mindful it is San Francisco and the streets are definitely full of hilss. If you can walk, everything is close enough. If you can't, Ubers are always available. The hotel itself was clean and secure with the charm of the Victorian Homes that are known for the area. Will definitely return to stay again. Thank you Azizza!"

"The absolute best bed & breakfast in San Francisco! Cleanest rooms, friendliest and most attentive staff, great location, most delicious breakfasts and snacks/baked goodies throughout the day. Our son graduated from USF this past Saturday and we’ve consistently stayed here. On our next trip to S.F., just to visit and explore more we’ll stay there again!"

"Liked the location of the property. Large rooms and walking distance to many attractions. Didn’t like the cost to park and the first first serve parking policy. Maybe only 15 parking spaces. They charge $50 daily for parking and a $35 destination fee. So not including our room we were charged $200 to park a car for two days."

"Neighborhood shows a side of the city that has significant opportunity for improvement. But didn't feel unsafe. At one point, even the staff stopped me going to my room, asking if I was a guest. However, clean and had all the necessities."
