"Stayed in the Townhouse suite and it was absolutely amazing! So comfy and beautiful and they restocked snacks and water for me daily. The food at the resort was so good and I felt very taken care of and safe here. They even decorated the place for my husbands birthday! 10/10 service. The butlers went above and beyond."

"This house was so beautiful with wide open spaces downstairs. The kitchen was easy to navigate and had what we needed to make a quick breakfast. Outside was a refreshing pool and the grounds were stunning. The massive beach was only a few meters away and the sunsets were breathtaking. "We (4 adults) enjoyed our stay very much. Finding this hidden treasure off the main road was a little difficult the first time, but we learned the visual landmarks quickly. We felt VERY secure inside the Suites and it was quiet and relaxing. Located in a neighborhood, we had very pleasant interactions with the local residents and frequented the grocery store nearby. "This house in the jungle was a highlight of our tour throughout the country. It was more than just a home we stayed at- it was a jungle experience. We loved the private waterfall and the tour through the property. We ended up canceling our plans one day to hang out more there on the property. The host and guide were wonderful to work with. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Alta Vista. Our villa was well-equipped and spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and there were separate bathrooms (with showers) for each bedroom, which was really convenient. The highlight was the gorgeous sunsets over the Pacific that we watched each evening from our private plunge pool. We grew fond of the brightly colored pair of scarlet macaws living nearby (and frequently flying over us). What could be more "pura vida" than that?"

"Our stay was terrific - waking up to the sounds of the howler monkeys followed by layers of bird songs was amazing! We loved our compact apartment that provided everything we needed. Having access to buses, taxis, beach routes was great. So much diversity all in one place. The Manual park tours is a must along with Finca Rocio coffee and spice tour. Both made our stay that much more culturally enriching!"

"Can’t say enough good things about this property and the team taking care of it. Great location, great surroundings, clean, gorgeous pool, just A all around. Also saw monkeys and other wildlife daily from the back porch. Only thing is it’s at the end of a very steep hill so if you are limited in walking take that into consideration but we walked it daily to eat at the restaurant at the top of the hill and felt like we walked off all the bad things we put in our body all week. "

"We had the most incredible stay at Villa Marbella. Camilo was so helpful leading up to the trip, he answered countless emails, helped set up excursions, had rental cars waiting for us, and a private chef. "Our room was filthy. We got there and keys under mat. Although the owner was in 1 of 4 apts he never told us about housekeeping (there was none) or trash or hoe to operate the outsode washer. He juat said hi. We had to ask for a garbage bag. We were there 7 days and wont do that again. No where to eat unless you take a bus. It was NOT a few minutes walk from beach or anything. The bed uncomfortable and towels stunk. Never again. "
