"Vivien was amazing. Very welcoming, gave us lots of information about the things we could do that interested us. Property is very clean, bed very comfortable and breakfast has all you need to start the day. Very close to the redwoods which is a big plus for us as we do love the redwoods. You will see us again Vivien. And oh the bakery you told us about is amazing. "

"What a lovely setting for a stay in Rotarua! Close enough to town to have easy access while keeping a bit of distance between the amazing geysers and their aromas and antics. Further, the rooms and grounds are a destination in themselves, with the accommodating manager Rajiv Shama and his staff always available to help with questions, reservations, and transportation. Breakfasts were lovely and fast. Take the time to walk the grounds and talk to the parrots. Thoroughly charming. "

"The room was very clean and comfortable, and it came with dishes and bowls—but no pots. Since the only nearby restaurant closes early, we had to drive over 20 minutes into town to buy food to cook ourselves. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize until after washing all the ingredients that pots need to be rented from the reception for NZD 10. Luckily, a kind young couple from a campervan lent us theirs, otherwise we would have gone hungry that night! Overall, the location is not the most convenient...

"This is a very family friendly property. Staff were very helpful and maintain a very high level of cleanliness. The resident cat is adorable and made us feel at home. The only small issue , is that there is very little soundproofing so you can hear voices from adjoining rooms. Would definitely go back again."

"I loved every feature of the complex. Warm, clean and modern facilities. Delicious and perfectly cooked to order breakfasts. Lovely surrounding being close to the stream and hearing it while relaxing in the spa. We are keen to stay there again and recommended it to both families and couples. "
