"Had a great time in The Little House, perfect location for me and my dog. The sandy/grassy area before the beach is perfect for an active canine, and beyond the beach stretches as far as the eye can see in either direction. I did think the accommodation had wifi (an oversight on my part), but that wasn't a big problem. Great TV with Freeview - tho there is a knack to getting the handset the work - you need to know where to aim it! If I went again I would take a head torch and my dog's flashing...

"Perfect accommodation for a short break. Upstairs is decorated to a good standard in modern style. Everything you need. Kitchen/lounge/diner area. Very cosy and relaxing. Quite big bedroom with double bed and comfortable mattress. Downstairs at bottom of stairs is the toilet and a wet room with shower and under floor heating. Lovely and warm and nice decor. We used the accommodation for a two night stay so we could visit family nearby. Absolutely ideal. Just friendly and helpful. Thank you. "

"The property is beautiful, and very well maintained. The host supplied us with everything we needed for our stay. The only issues we had were that the front door lock is difficult to use (it often won’t open if you’re not pulling on the door in just the right way), and there were some communications problems through the native Vrbo interface. I’m certain that would be fixed by booking on Cottages.com"

"Stunning lodge with stunning views. Tranquil setting amongst trees. We even had deer in the garden. Lodge was very well equipped and very comfortable. Could have done with a few more plates, dishes etc so we didn't have to put the dishwasher on after every meal. "

"We have stayed at slightly cheaper locations, but none as nice as this. With only a microwave in the kitchenette, it would be a challenge to cook a decent meal when the weather isn't nice (we were lucky so able to make use of the bbq).The wood-fired hot tubs were lovely though, as well as having the peacocks wandering around our feet when chilling on the deck with a glass of wine. Plus, the hosts were very attentive and made our stay very comfortable.We would definitely recommend Apple Mount to...
