2021 Review: "Lovely place to stay. Had an amazing time and would highly recommend."

Bring the family to this fantastic home with all the amenities you would want and a cozy home-away-from-home feel with log accents.   Pine Hollow is sure to be a favorite with 3650 square feet, gorgeous mountain scenery off the back deck and a 2-stall garage.  Located just 3 miles from Historic Deadwood and 10 miles to Sturgis with paved roads make this an excellent choice to call home while you tour the Black Hills!

The home comfortably sleeps 15 with 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths.  Master bedroom with king bed on main level and attached bathroom, 2 bedrooms with single queen beds, 1 bedroom with queen bed and trundle bed (2 twins), 1 bedroom with queen bed and bunk bed with double on bottom and twin on top.  Crib available for our little guests.

The large kitchen-dining area has everything you need to prepare and enjoy your family meals - seating for 13 at the table and counter.  The main living room has a gorgeous rock fireplace, wall of windows to bring in the natural light and comfy furniture for lounging.  Off the kitchen is the large deck with patio furniture and gas BBQ Grill.
The lower family/game room houses a rock faced wet bar and sink, fridge and wine rack. You'll really enjoy the custom log pool table, 42' plasma TV.  Stay connected with wifi and satellite TV.

Needs some TLC. Many lights burned out; refrigerator downstairs did not work. Hot tub did not work. Carpet needs ceaning. Nice location. Nice big kitchen.

Beautiful Cabin for a Fantastic Stay

This was a beautiful cabin that we thoroughly enjoyed for our stay in the Mount Rushmore area. We loved that there were plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms that made our trip comfortable and relaxed. The kitchen was ready to go with all the tools and equipment we needed to cook all our meals. The grill was great and the deck had a big table and chairs so we could eat outside and enjoy being in the forest. The beds were quite comfortable. On the down side, the cabin could use a thorough deep cleaning and refurbishment. While the kitchen and bathrooms were very clean, the rest of the cabin was pretty dusty, and the windows were fairly dirty. The couch in the living room had a fairly large rip in one of the seats, the beverage refrigerator at the bar wasn't working, several light fixtures needed new light bulbs, and we had to wear shoes on the deck because it needed sanding. Really though, if the cabin was given a thorough once over it would be absolutely perfect. Despite these problems, we loved this cabin and would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. Wewere there for my daughter's wedding. Cabin was nice, we enjoyed sitting in the hot tub. Played pool and grilled. We would take a walk at night and it was so peaceful. I highly recommend staying here.

Family Time

We really enjoyed the property, however was somewhat disappointed the hot tub did not heat up it said it was 102 and was like ice water. But enjoyed everything else. We had 4 generations with us.
