"The Inn is situated near the top of a mountain and surrounded by other hilltops. There are trails that help you to reconnect with nature. Our room was lovely and comfortable. There is a attention to detail in the decor of this establishment which is both delightful and humorous."

"We loved our stay in Deerfield Valley Inn. One of the best inns in Southern Vermont that we stayed in. The room was spacious, cozy, clean and elegantly decorated with a fireplace. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The inn was right in the middle of the town so everything was walking distance. Definitely going back and highly recommend for a relaxing getaway."

"This is a beautiful, historic property and pretty consistent with the photos on the website. The room I had was just as pretty with some antique furnishings, but of course in person you notice that it is an old building. The room was a great size, and I loved the hardwood floors. The bathroom was also large and you are provided a sundry of items for convenience. The bed was comfortable, though it did seem to have a center depression. The only other issue I had was that though the the showerhead...

"Breakfast was good. Had a nice view of the landscape, unfortunately our room faced the road and traffic going past our room we could hear; it did quiet down after 10:00 p.m."

The check-in process was a little hectic, check in time was 3pm, but our room wasn't ready. The caretaker was very friendly. We only had to wait about 20 minutes. We weren't aware this property was a VRBO, and not a regular Inn. "
