"Rosie and Michael were unbelievable- Rosie made us feel at home immediately as we entered the Manor. The location was perfect for the area of Galveston that we were exploring. We enjoyed our visit - so much was because of the George Manor, their staff, and the porches with rocking chairs. We are so thankful we stayed there."

"Everything was great, especially the welcoming and accommodating staff. The pool is great and the location convenient. We stayed during a Monday and Tuesday so the restaurant wasn’t open. The food we tried was good but some was bland such as the Caesar salad and the ceviche (campechana) and the kids pasta. The chicken sandwich was really good. Good beer selection, reasonable prices. My family enjoyed our stay. I would definitely go back and recommend it."

"In all honesty, this is probably the worst hotel I’ve ever seen in my life. My family and I are pretty easy-going. We don’t usually judge too harshly of the places that we stay as long as we’ve got clean beds clean bathrooms we’re good.. this place was completely disgusting. It was dirty, moldy, and everything inside was pretty rusty. There was mildew on the pillows and the walls. The bathroom shower floor was black."

"We like the hot breakfast but not the room. The switch wasn’t useful between the ceiling fan and the bathroom needs to be separately and the outside post lamp so bright throughout my window room, we can’t sleep even the curtains are unable to block the lights or close. Our stay were 50% disappointed"

"Beware of the huge cockroaches! We were packing our things up from a short overnight stay, and as we were we saw a cockroach that was about 3 inches long crawl up our curtain and another crawling towards the desk in the room. I’m completely sick. They have not emailed me back or anything after spending $250 for the night?! Disgusted to say the least."
