"Lovely place, centrally located, considerate innkeeper (who was also a great bartender! Be sure to check out the intriguing collection of cocktails). Only flaw was that it required a bit of an expedition for us to get coffee in the morning and I just happen to be one of those people who cannot function without it. If you arent, you will have a lovely time."

We particularly want to thank Hannah for moving breakfast up a half an hour, so that we could get to the UVM graduation on time. She went out of her way to give us a full breakfast, on short notice. "This was a charming inn in the countryside of Vermont with beautiful mountains and valleys. Excellent location in the Mad River Valley to explore the small towns surrounding it!! Historic charm and very accommodating hosts. Friendly service. They are very Informative. Great breakfast as a bonus!! We would definitely recommend and would go back. "

It’s a country house so don’t expect anything lavish or over the top. Another reviewer wrote that it’s like staying at grandma’s. Couldn’t agree more. If you like trendy and fancy, this is not the place. If you like rustic, quiet and low key- this will do the job. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Excellent breakfast! Sitting room available for guests was comfy with coffee/tea and delicious homemade cake. All very clean. Our room was small with little area for luggage. Hot/Cold water was reversed, but without my glasses on in the bathroom I couldn't read the script cap on the faucet. We ran the water for quite a while before we figured it out. Randy very knowledgeable about the area and a wealth of information on Stowe and environs. Would definitely stay here again."

"Great condo that was exceptionally clean and had all amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Location was perfect for quick access to the mountain and walkable to downtown and bike trail. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Stowe!!"

"everything was great with one exception. There were no pots larger than a 3 quart pan, plenty of coffee cups but only 1 water glass, 6 4oz juice cups and 13 dinner plates, seems odd."
