"This house was perfect for our family's getaway to the mountains! This cozy cottage was walking distance from a variety of restaurants and shops and a short drive from Legoland and Woodbury Commons. Our only feedback was that the air conditioners needed a good scrub, one of the lamps in the bedrooms had some bugs that managed to get stuck in it, and there wasn't a blow dryer. These are are very easy fixes and wouldn't deter us from coming back. Matthew and Janet were great hosts and did call to...

"We enjoyed an all-ages family reunion for a wk at this lovely home ! It's clean, comfortable and has an amazing kitchen stocked w/ everything we needed (including spices and extras)...we especially appreciated having the paddleboards and kayaks (a single and a double), plus a few games and puzzles ~ This is the quieter side of the lake (distance from the rd/traffic) and we saw birds everyday (swans,swallows,eagles, herons and lots of ducks and ducklings!) Thank you for a wonderful time!!"

"We really enjoyed relaxing on the front porch after a busy day out. Beds were very comfortable. So nice to be able to sit around and visit, instead being in a hotel, sitting on beds. We did miss having a microwave to use. Very nice and affordable."

"My fiance (at the time!) and I stayed here and absolutely loved it for our wedding weekend. We loved the space around the property which was both beautiful and private, and the space was just the right size for a couple or two (it was just us of course, but we had our parents over for dinner one night and it was perfect for hosting). The primary bedroom's AC wasn't the best (didn't seem to be blowing out of the floor vent as much as the rest of the house) but luckily it was cool enough at night...

"We enjoyed 4 nights at this lovely, beautifully renovated home. It was the perfect size for the 6 of us and we took advantage of the back patio for grilling and dining. The decor is lovely and the kitchen very well equipped. We had everything we needed and more."

"We were visiting West Point Academy and wanted a place to stay for our family of five. Perfect location and just what we needed for a couple of nights. Would stay again if we are back in the area!"

"It's a converted garage with a cement floor but it's covered in area rugs so tolerable. Shower leaves a lot to be desired. Modern appliances and antique furnishings create a unique feel. Hot tub is nice but had a musty smell. Unable to use outdoor fire pit due to no kindling, only split logs. Also unable to use indoor pellet stove due to not enough pellets. Overall a relaxing, cozy place and we did enjoy it."
