"We so enjoyed our stay at this place. The interior was nicely furnished and clean! The view of the lake outside was beautiful and calming. There were plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy the firepit and lake. At the end of the day, part of our group sat at the end of the dock and enjoyed watching the boats and other watercraft as they passed by on the lake. Unfortunately rain prevented us from enjoying the firepit, but that just means we will have to return to enjoy this great get away...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Linda's river house. The house itself was very clean and a had a beautiful view of the river running behind the house. We came up for a weekend of golf and there was no shortage of great courses nearby. Linda was a very accommodating host and had several suggestions for food in the Rockford area. We really enjoyed the small town atmosphere and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet weekend away."

"My husband and I stayed at Suzanne's place over his birthday. We were both so impressed by the decorating, amenities and attention to detail. Outside the approach to the lake was nice and flat with a dock and kayaks. Ample outdoor space to relax on multiple decks or around the fire pit. Amazing place!!I would give it a 10 plus rating!!"

Had issues with the VRBO app, which wouldnt allow me to respond to messages, so hopefully the owners see this so they know how much we enjoyed our stay! "This is a perfect place for vacation. The house is fully furnished and full supply inside, with many decorated pictures and deer statues make us feel like living in our home. Environment area are quiet and clean, Host is just across the street and provide help if needed instantly. This give another point. We would come back if there is a chance and also strongly recommend to others."

"Our family loved this cottage and we loved the hostess Nina! When I first walked into the house it smelled amazing and the view was beautiful. It was such a great first impression. The beds are comfortable and all the natural light in the cottage makes it a happy space. We reached out to Nina several times and she was always available and accomadating. "Very relaxing Girls weekend! Great views, clean property, loved the set up/space. Supplied with necessities. Beach area needed some Spring clean up, but we enjoyed the amenities down there. Enjoyed the paddle boat the most! The long Stairway to lake was quite a hike for some of us!! Overall a great pick!"
