"Great stay, close to centre and easy to park"

"We staying in the XXL which came with 2 double beds and 1 double sofa bed. The 2 double beds and sofa bed we're separated by a wall and sliding door. The room was a good size and the bathroom clean. The walk in shower was excellent. The air con was good in the main room (sofa bed) but we found the separate room (2 double beds) was quite warm because of the heatwave. The beds were comfy. "This is a very convenient hotel to overnight on the way to the ferry ports to UK. It is about 100m from the E40 although there was no noise from the road. The room was large, very smart, air con and has tea and coffee facilities. The restaurant and bars were attractive but we took the opportunity of driving into Brugge. Check in staff were lovely. There is a local town with pubs and shops, and Brugge is just 8 Km away. The parking at -'t Zand Underground Garage is excellent plentiful, 5 mins...

"Wij hadden 3 kamers naast elkaar. Dat was top maar we zaten in een gedeelte wat nog niet af was ofzo. Betonnen muren en rook niet heel fris op de gang. Kamer verder wel in orde."

"Séjour catastrophique de 3 nuits (samedi-mardi) pour un couple avec enfant, chambre 115. Dès l'arrivée, lavabo bouché signalé à 14h à l'accueil, sans intervention. À 18h, nouveau signalement : une fuite d'eau au plafond de la réception était visible (seaux et serviettes au sol). L'agent, seul en poste, dit ne pas pouvoir intervenir immédiatement mais promet de régler le problème. À notre retour à 2h du matin, le lavabo était toujours bouché. "Room amenities were not 4 star. No USB ports, no kettle, warm fridge, safe that didn't open, bedside wall light front plate fell off, no instructions on how to operate anything, no information about breakfast/dinner menus, bed sheets do not fit the bed. Room was clean, bathroom was very nice, hairdryer included. Staff pleasant and mostly helpful. Restaurant did not make a good impression at dinner. Slow service, wrong order after long wait followed by another long wait for the correct...

"Attention danger ! Hôtel bien situé et bon rapport qualité prix mais parking non sécurisé. Ma voiture a été volée dans la nuit alors qu’elle était garée sur le parking à 50m de la réception. La direction reconnaît avoir chaque semaine 3 faits de casse ou vol de véhicule. A fuir. Privilégiez un hôtel avec parking sécurisé."

"Pro: AC worked very well, bed was very comfortable. Room was spacious. Con: Towels didn’t smell fresh. Shower didn’t drain properly. Staff made us wait to ensure they got their money from Expedia which I thought was really weird. All attention at check out went there and they didn’t ask if we had enjoyed our stay."

"We loved our stay at this absolutely charming and beautiful hotel Ypres. It’s set on extensive and beautifully landscape grounds only a 10 minute walk from the centre of town. Extremely well maintained to a very high standard, the staff was marvellous and the dining room was excellent. The cost for breakfast seemed a little high at first, but after we experienced the breakfast, we had no reservations. Extensive buffet with freshly cooked options. Very high-quality. We also enjoyed dinner there...

"Behulpzaam personeel, schone kamer. Minpuntje : bij het ontbijt vond ik de pistolets taai en op de kamer koelde de koelkast niet. Het was die periode wel warm, dan verwacht je toch een koud drankje."
