The room was clean. Some staff members were very nice, while others were less so; in particular, the local staff were the most pleasant. Some of them didn't reply our "good mornings".
The door stopped working, and we had to report the issue three times. It was only fixed after two days. They offered to move us to another room, but it was smaller and had an unpleasant odor. I also work in hotels, and in situations like this, it is standard to upgrade the guest’s room rather than make it worse. Additionally, they did not offer a complimentary breakfast, which is normally done to maintain guest satisfaction.
We stayed for four nights and received no upgrade or gesture to improve our experience. I expressed my concern about the door remaining unlocked and hoped there would be no further issues.
The breakfast was good but simple, no waffles in the country of waffles!!!
We want to come back, but not this hotel.
