This one-story home offers a beautiful mid island location with a large screened in porch, fenced yard with deck and island breezes. You will love the outdoor shower, fire pit, grill and large oak shaded private yard. Appliances and conveniences include laundry room with washer and dryer, fully equipped HVAC, ceiling fans throughout, Wi-Fi and cable, 3 large TVs, and 2 car garage. The home is stocked with fun items for both indoor and outdoor fun. Ping Pong Table. Outdoor extras include basketball, bikes, volleyball set, beach toys, croquet, firepit and fishing equipment. There are board games, books, and puzzles for Indoor play. Baby crib. St. Simons has miles of paved bike paths and easy, flat terrain giving a leisurely car or bike ride to the beach or charming village 4.6 miles. Numerous hiking, biking, museums and nature trails, and parks. Enjoy St. Simon's eclectic shops, surfing, classic fishing pier, and stretches of spectacular beaches. There are many waterfront restaurants with live music and great seafood. This natural island environment retains the charm of old coastal towns because you won't find high-rise condos and hotels that loom over the beaches here. Just a short walk to the Sea Palms Resort with its 18 holes of championship golf and splendid restaurant, Sago, and many other island favorites. Minutes from the beach and 15 minutes to the much-loved Pier Village and the St. Simons Lighthouse. Jekyll Island is the neighboring island offering a water park, Georgia Sea Turtle Center and Driftwood Beach.

The home is exactly across the road from the golf course. It is pristine, and I was surprised to find a mini kit in the kitchen for small abrasions, and injuries complete with bandaids, and other appropriate items. The kitchen has most of the necessary pots and pans for cooking and my husband was happy to find an air fryer. Everything on the island is at most 15 minutes away. And you can easily travel back to Savannah, SC (1.5 hours away) we spent a day there; and, Jacksonville, Fl (1 hour away) we considered going there, but decided to spend more time on the beach. Would most definitely stay here again.

Great Stay!!

This was an awesome stay! St. Simon island offered lots of activities. The house we stayed in was in a great location. Our host, Kim was very accommodating, allowing us to check in a little early, there were bikes for us to ride, and even a ping pong table (which we played a lot). The beaches were all pet friendly so we were able to take our dogs there and they had a blast. Would definitely come back to this area.

Perfect accommodations

The house was ideal for our annual Thanksgiving week in Saint Simons. The house is spacious and comfortable, is nicely appointed with original art, and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. A highlight was a quick walk up the street where we watched the Egrets roosting in trees around the pond at sunset. Kim was an accommodating and gracious host.

Perfect Getaway

Plenty of room for two couples to spread out and relax. Great neighborhood convenient to anywhere on the island. The house was spotless and well-appointed with everything we needed. Kim was an excellent host! We hope to be back soon.

Great house for a family!

I stayed here with my husband and infant son for two months over the summer. The house was perfect for us! It sits back in a quiet neighborhood that was great for walking with the baby and dog. There are walking paths that connect to the neighborhood to the south which has a playground. The location is mid-island and a short trip to restaurants and shops! We biked all over the island and my husband and I would walk down to restaurants for date nights when my mom came by to babysit. The house itself is spacious, well decorated, and well taken care of. There is a fenced side yard which was great for the dog and a screened porch in back which we used to watch the thunderstorms or for some rainy day reading. While we just had the three of us most of the time, the house could accommodate a larger group if needed. Kim was a phenomenal host! The entry instructions were clear and she was great at communicating anything that needed to be done with the house (when the trash truck comes, when the lawn gets mowed, etc.). Kim was very responsive if I had any questions and was accommodating to our family’s specific needs. We were very happy at this property and even reached out to try to stay longer! Highly recommend!
