404 is a newly remodeled one bedroom/one bath room gulf front condo located in Sandy Shores on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico in Madeira Beach, Florida. The living room opens out to the private balcony which over-looks the pool area, beach and Gulf of Mexico. The kitchen is updated with beautiful cabinets and granite counter tops. The update modern styling carries throughout the condo for the chic beach feel. The cabinets are filled with dishes, cookware and utensils. A coffee maker and toaster are also provided. The bedroom has two queen beds, large dresser, flat screen TV and walk- in closet. Bed linens and bath towels are provided for up to 4 guests in the condo. As a guest of John's Pass Condo's you will have access to our office services such as printing boarding passes and sending and receiving faxes as well as receive and send mail from our office. Our friendly staff will do their best to accommodate any requests or concerns you may have during your vacation. Please come and enjoy the beautiful beach and soothing warm breezes as well as the local attractions which include John's Pass Village and Boardwalk with its many shops, cafes, restaurants and fishing charters directly across the street from our condos. Coin operated washers and dryers are located on each floor. This is a non- smoking accommodation.

It was relaxing and delightful. Everything was there if you needed it...would of loved tissues and paper towels...but that was totally minor the staff was patient and professional. Great property...will definitely stay there again

This is where I grew up and it was nice to visit. The VRBO was in a great spot, near everything and it brought back memories for me. It was really hot when we visited and it was nice to look at the beach from inside the unit.

This was the 2nd time staying at Sandy Shores, first time in this unit.
Everything was great....we will be back as this is one of our favorite places to stay!

The view of the ocean was the best. Close walk to beaxch, pool was a good size. On ground patio was very nice. Furnishings were VERY worn. Safa was lumpy, chairs were dirty one was even wet. Coffee table had a broken leg put was left standing by the sofa to use. Dininf table was stained and to the point that one was rusted through the finish. A dining chair was wobbly and unsafe to sit in. I would not rent this unit again.

I loved the condo however the shower curtain liner was disgusting. It was full of mildew I actually took it down and bought a replacement liner. There were constant problems with the elevator and the gate code going out to the beach didn’t work half the time. The condo itself was nice and very relaxing

It is a beach-view flat, so view is very good as advertised. Location is good too, just cross street, there is a plaza with everything you may need. But the good things end here. The flat is not clean: dead cockroach found in the kitchen cabinet. One chair has a leg broke off; I almost fall to the floor. Lights is using last century tungsten bulbs, the Chandeliers above dinning table with 7 bulbs is like baking you when dining. Washer is broken on the floor so had to check other floors to find an available one. Mattress is like a sponge. I am average size (160 lb) and I sink into it like a hole is there. It was a torture sleeping there. And do not walk on the carpet bare foot, as the nails that anchor the carpet will hurt you.
I can go on listing other minor things, but I think these are the major ones. My points is it won't cost much to solve these problems. Few bucks to upgrade the bulbs to LED. A couple of hundred to get new spring mattress from IKEA, and maybe spend a bit to get a couple of new chair? Why not do this which would transform the flat. And dead cockroach is unacceptable at any level.
I gave a 3-star overall rating as the location and view are indeed good. But I do not think I would be returning to this property.

The property was pretty much as pictured, but it did not measure up to our other experiences at VRBO properties. Upon arrival, the door code we were sent did not work. There was no parking pass to display in our car (car would be towed without it.)In the kitchen there was a tiny coffee maker, no paper towels, no dishwashing liquid or cleaner of any type for counters. Very little local information was provided in the condo and there was no channel guide or TV information. The “beach” chairs and umbrellas were less than adequate for a beach front property.
There were, however, adequate towels and the sheets were fresh and clean.
The condo is in need of some serious tweaking by the owner.

Read the fine print. The cleaning fee was more than the coat of the condo. Cost me about $300 for one night
