  • A rental agreement with SunHost Resorts is required before your reservation is confirmed. The condo association also requires a guest application and approval prior to arrival. It must be completed within 4 days of booking to avoid cancellation. The non-refundable $100 application fee is included in the booking cost.

    Fully remodeled condo at waterfront Madeira Beach Yacht Club! Relax in your screened-in Florida room, cook in the updated kitchen, and unwind in the refreshed bedroom and bath. On site you'll find 2 pools, pickleball courts, a playground and fishing docks, all a short walk to the Gulf beaches. Note: construction is ongoing on the property, but this unit is fully ready for guests.

    INSIDE THE CONDO
    This ground floor 1 bedroom, 1 bath suite was completely remodeled from top to bottom. The highlight is the screened-in Florida room, perfect for morning coffee or evening downtime. The updated kitchen features new finishes and appliances and is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans. The bedroom has all-new furnishings, and the bathroom has been updated with modern fixtures. Free high-speed Wi-Fi and HD TV are included. In unit washer/dryer included.

    Madeira Beach Yacht Club features 2 swimming pools, nearby pickleball courts, playground and multiple fishing docks. It sits next to a city park and is just a short walk to the beautiful Gulf beaches, as well as being right on the waterfront in Madeira Beach city center.

Just steps from your door you'll find lively restaurants, a rooftop bar with sweeping views, shops, a supermarket and a drug store. About 2 miles away is John's Pass Village, a turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's #1 attraction, with more than 100 shops, restaurants, dolphin and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Madeira Beach's 2.5-mile shoreline offers crystal-clear water, great fishing and plenty of sunshine.

Location does not have a view to the water, but is steps away. The unit is closer to the shopping side & beach in the complex.

Getting out of the cold

I chose this place because of the hot tub and the screened in porch. Well i was sadden to find out that the hot tub was out of order. Well I now realize that I do not need a hot tub or a pool but I did enjoy the screened in porch. The beach is super close. The CVS, Winn Dixie and Dollar store are right across the street. Honestly once you get here you really do not need a car. Plenty of options in a 2 mile radius.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed in this unit 2/-2/17/24. Unitmay be considered a bit small and tight but provides everything two people will need; kitchen is well equiped. TV opeation takes a bit of getting used, not your typical single use Spectrum remotes. Have to use two remotes for each TV (one TV, second for box...secret is leave box on all the time). TV in bedroom operates via Roko. Parking is close to unit. Location in Yacht Club compound is walking distance to Winn-Dixie, Dollar Tree, and CVS. Beach is 5 minute walk, beach chairs provided in lanai. Pier is right behind unit. This unit does not have a designated barbecue grill, as many other units do. Check in and out iaat Sunhost office across from John's Pass 1 1/2 mile south. We'd rent this unit again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although the property was in a great location, the property itself was not so great. Dropped something on the floor and saw under beds. Ended up pulling all furniture to sweep, windows and sills very dirty. Beat up kitchen, clogged kitchen drain due to disposal being disconnected, not a sharp knife in the drawer. We were there for 2 months and expected better home catering services. Location was perfect. Close to all amenities. Pool was warm and we enjoyed it very much.

Reviewer Comments: The office staff at the yacht club was very rude and not very helpful when we asked them to look in the locked box for the fab that the previous renters put in, we also ran out of dishwasher detergent they did not have any to give us. We were not given the correct gate code on the first day we got in and had to jump the gate to get in, the emergency phone # did not help us, they didn’t believe me when I told them that the code didn’t work and it wasn’t until the maintenance man told them that the code didn’t work that the believed me and finally gave me a new code

There was plenty of seating and living space for a smaller unit. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was comfy. The location was perfect - close to the beach, restaurants, CVS, and a grocery store. It was great to be able to walk everywhere. The pool was perfect as well, and not too crowded. There was also a nice walking path around the harbor. We’ve stayed along this stretch several times and this was one of our favorite places. Would definitely book again!

Spent a week here

Nice location, very short walk to the beach and marina. It was nice having washer and dryer in the apartment. The toilet water ran for a couple of days until the management company was able to get it fixed.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE - NOT RECOMMENDED

I wouldn't recommend the property or the management company at all. The property is !!!NOT!!! ADA compliant in any way. The furniture is old and falling apart -- the dining room chair broke on our last day. The bed is old and has a foam mattress topper to make it "comfortable". The place is dirty and there were dust motes on the floor, mold in the crevices of the bathtub and stunk. I could smell the neighbor's cooking their meal in the kitchen. Tjhe gate code didn't work for our last day and there was no key issued for the pedestrian gate (a fire & safety hazard). Management was terrible. The list goes on.
