One Bedroom Penthouse Condo on the Beach at Ocean Sands

This one bedroom penthouse condo on Madeira Beach is available for rent at prestigious Ocean Sands directly on the Gulf of Mexico. The living room and bedroom each have Gulf views. The bedroom has two full-size beds and a spacious walk-in closet. An additional 1/2 bathroom is located in the front of the unit. The condo also includes a queen size air mattress and sleeps four very comfortably.

The unit includes a full-size washer and dryer. Beach chairs and beach towels are supplied. Contactless entry is available for check-in. The unit is also stocked with sufficient paper goods to cover at least a monthly stay.

Ocean Sands has one of the largest swimming pools on the beach with plenty of poolside chairs and a spectacular tiki hut equipped with outdoor BBQ grills.

High-speed internet is included. Living room includes a 55' 4K QLED television and a Blu-Ray player. Bedroom includes a 42' HD LED television and a Blu-Ray player.

Ocean Sands is only a seven hour drive from Atlanta. The Gulf Blvd. trolley is available in front of the condo complex every 30 minutes. Most amenities (shopping, restaurants, charters, cruises, water sports) are located within walking distance. Tampa International Airport is a 30 minute drive. Busch Gardens is 45 minutes away and Walt Disney World is less than two hours away. Covered parking is supplied with ample room for guests.

Despite ongoing repairs in the whole of Madeira Beach, a great place to stay!

Madeira Beach is still recovering from the hurricanes. Ocean Sands is more advanced than some of the other condos in the area. The pool area is by my estimate, only a couple of weeks from being ready for use. The pool was completely replastered and repaired and almost ready for use. When we left on March 1, 2025, the landscaping around the pool was in progress, the outdoor shower was done and I think it will be ready for use within a week or two. It is such a convenient place to stay with a grocery store about 500 steps from the condo,a pharmacy and 711across the street and the best Thai restaurant(Thai star) a block and a half away. Does not look like much from the outside but the food is outstanding.Anyway, was very pleased with our stay (our 4th).

Great condo

This is really a great condo. Nicely updated and very clean. The view is amazing. We watched the sunset every night, dolphins swimming by and birds diving into the ocean for their meals. The property is well kept. The pool and hot tub are wonderful.

Bright and cheery!

Really a comfortable place! Bright, and cheery with a gorgeous view. Perfect view! Very clean. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Keurig and regular coffee makers. All the spices needed for anything! Plastic wrap, foil, baggies….just so nice to have that for leftovers. Just need one or 2 pieces so hate to have to buy it. It was all there. Plenty of napkins, t.p. paper towel, laundry, dish, and hand soap all there for you on ARRIVAL. Building was very well kept and clean as well. Beach was amazing, heated pool and hot tub very nice. Loved location. Grocery store and drug store across the street. Sooo convenient. Great restaurants within walking distance. Communication with owner was great, and response always quick.We were super comfy here.

Penthouse View at Ocean Sands in Madeira Beach

What a perfect beach getaway. My wife and I stayed almost 6 weeks, and still didn't want to go home. The condo was neat and clean with lots of updated appliances, and floors that were easy to keep clean. The beach at Ocean Sands in Madeira Beach is clean, not crowded (we went during October/November), and the sunsets are spectacular every evening. The view of the beach and the Gulf of Mexico from the 12th floor balcony is breathtaking. The swimming pool and hot tub are very nice, and kept extremely clean. All of the other guests we met there were friendly and courteous. Winn-Dixie grocery store, CVS, The Dollar Store, and many restaurants are all withing walking distance. Other stores like Publix and Walmart are less than a 5 minute drive away. We had very few issues, but when we did, Mike responded promptly, and got the issue resolved quickly and completely. We honestly could not have asked for a better vacation spot than the 12th floor penthouse at Ocean Sands.

Fantastic Vacation Stay at Madeira Beach Florida

Ocean Sands Vacation My wife and I spent two wonderful weeks at Michael’s oceanside property at Madeira Beach, FL. The accommodations were ideal and just as advertised. First, we appreciated the owner’s early and quick response to our request which helped us conclude vacation and travel plans. The electronic-security system inside the building and into the unit was clear and simple. The instruction handbook was concise and easy to follow. Additional information on local sites and attractions was much appreciated. Would have liked to see more instructions on operating the television systems, but I have been known to be electronically challenged with such things. Most important the property was clean and comfortable. Nothing was lacking to make our stay care-free. The appliances were new and easy to use. Just everything about the property and accommodations were first-rate. I know owner-Michael is not responsible for the weather and spectacular sunsets but great location on the beach (high above the noise level) made the setting breathtaking. The Ocean Sands Condominium is an attractive complex, parking and on-site access are easy and recreational facilities were inviting and easy to get to. Owners and guests were so friendly and helpful. Access to the world-class beach was just a short walk outside the condominium door. Highly recommend the property and really hope to stay again.

Great vacation in great condo

Two week stay (minimum required) in gulf front penthouse condo. Views are spectacular especially at sunset. Condo is well equipped if you want to cook, walking distance to many restaurants if you’re not cooking. Short drive to John’s Pass for shopping, dining, fishing. Many golf courses within half hour drive. Location is close to ideal. Mike (owner) is very responsive if there are any questions or issues. Already planning return for next year.

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in Mike Byrne’s condo located on the 12th floor of Ocean Sands

The condo is beautifully decorated and the views are spectacular. The condo is fully equipped with all the comforts of home. Mike’s condo is so welcoming. Plus he has it stocked with all the paper products you would need or want. Mike responded very quickly to all messages. I would recommend this condo to anyone that wants to rent a luxury condo. Mike is an excellent host.

Spectacular view

This condo provided us with everything we could need and more! The view off of the 12th floor is stunning! Condo is updated and kitchen provides everything needed to cook at home. Perfect location for beach walks, grocery stores, restaurants and so much more. Pool and spa were perfect after a day at the beach. Would love to stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic!

This VRBO is a dream! Exactly like the pictures. Also, the best stocked/furnished VRBO we've ever stayed in. Right on the beach, close to everything, easy in and out, garage parking. The only complaint was getting off the balcony to go do something. The view was amazing -- morning and night. And the real winner for us was the extra half-bath - priceless!!

Beautiful and Peaceful with Gorgeous View

We Loved our stay in this Top Floor Condo, a huge sigh of relief when it is just as pictured. The owner was great. A fabulous view and steps from the white sand of Madiera Beach, which is kept very clean as well. The pool and hot tub were beautiful and very well kept and beautifully landscaped. This condo was just as pictured with attention to cleanliness, it was well stocked with living supplies, we found it difficult to go anywhere as we enjoyed walks on the beach, sunning by the pool and reading on the balcony while listening to ocean waves. Would come back again for sure.

Fabulous View and Convenient Location

This luxury penthouse exceeded our expectations. From the fabulous view of Madiera Beach to the attention to cleanliness and everyday living supplies, we found it difficult to pull ourselves away from the balcony to go explore the area. Fresh seafood market across the street, gym about a mile away, yoga on the beach, and sleeping to the sound of the ocean made time fly by too soon! A bit expensive, but we got our money's worth and would do this again.

Beautiful condo in great location

Condo was very well appointed with new appliances and well stocked kitchen ( new cooking utensils, spice rack available, etc.) My impression is that this condo is primarily used by owners and isn’t available for rent very often. View from balcony was spectacular
