Ask me About Honeymoon Island Before Booking. Hello and welcome to Mai Tai Suites Dunedin! We're thrilled to introduce you to our beautiful furnished rental in the charming city of Dunedin, Florida. Our two-bedroom, one-bath space is the perfect getaway for up to 4 people.

We're excited to offer you a special deal with NO CLEANING FEE Our stunning space features a spacious living room with plenty of seating for 4 guests, 2 Smart TV's, and WiFi to keep everyone entertained. The fully equipped kitchen includes all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay.

Both bedrooms boast comfortable king-size beds with fresh linens and pillows provided, and the bathroom is stocked with towels, toiletries, and a bathtub with a shower. Don't forget to take advantage of the outdoor seating area outside each unit.

Explore the area with a stroll on the Causeway beach and a visit to the High and Dry Grill for some refreshments. Nearby attractions include beaches, parks, downtown Dunedin, and the Oldsmar Flea Market, as well as plenty of restaurants and shops to discover.

Amazing Stay at Mai Tai Suites

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mai Tai Suites in Dunedin. We have vacationed in Dunedin in the past, and this was by far the best location and the best property we stayed at. Being so close to the causeway and the state park was so nice. Also having a pass included with our stay to get into the park was such a nice perk! We could also take a very short walk or bike ride to see the sunset in the evening. The suite itself was perfect! The king size bed was one of the most comfortable beds we had ever slept in. The shower had great water pressure, the kitchen was well stocked, and it was decorated beautifully. Karen, the owner, was amazing to work with and her communication was top notch. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here, and we have already booked for next year!!

Cute Little Place! Reccomend!

We have a huge place in our hearts for Dunedin as we had an extended stay in 2021 at a home nearby from this property. The beds are super comfortable, and the kitchen & bath have all the essentials that you need for a short stay a washer and a dryer!Walkable to the causeway (where you may spot a Dolphin) to Honeymoon Island, and a nice bike ride to the Pinellas Trail, Ozona, and downtown Dunedin. It is most certainly a property you'll need transportation to and from wherever you want to go.I'd say the only negative to this unit is the Bait shop behind the unit, which is loud and is on 24/7. Eventually, you stop hearing it inside (becomes like white noise) but if you wanted to sit outside on the patio, that is what you have a view of - may be a negative to some, certainly not a deal breaker for a short stay, IMO.

50th birthday!!

We went for my husband's 50th and our son's joined us for the week, we enjoyed honeymoon and calidesi Island daily, great places to eat close by, marina within minutes. This is the 2nd time staying at mai tai and we can't wait to return.

Unit #4 Pros and Cons. . .

Pros: Sparkling clean and well equipped. Fresh decor, with comfortable king beds. In unit washer/dryer. AC was great. Dedicated parking space. The Honeymoon State Park Pass was a huge value add. The Park is lovely. Beautiful beach soft sand to walk barefoot. Nice groomed nature trails. The host was awesome fast responses and attentive to a answer questions. Cons: The unit door did not have a deadbolt. The “patio” was extremely small. No place to put a table and chairs to sit outdoors or to eat. No grilling or shade. The view was not appealing-as it faced the cluttered and junky backside of a business.

Amazing!

We stayed at Mai Tai Suites for its location and it is dog friendly. We have visited Dunedin many times but this was our first trip with our dog. We had an amazing time and Karen and John certainly take pride in their property. It looks just like the photos and is incredibly clean. Everything you need is there including a very short walk to the Dunedin Causeway and short drive to Honeymoon Island. The free pass to Honeymoon was wonderful and we used it almost every day. Honeymoon Island has the most beautiful dog beach. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Dunedin, you will not be disappointed with Mai Tai Suites. Book it! You’ll love it!

Everything we needed

The apartment came exactly as advertised. It was in great shape, had everything we needed. Including coolers, beach chairs and a pass to Honeymoon Island. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The location, right off the causeway was wonderful. There is a sports bar next door that was good for an evening cocktails. If you are a light sleeper don’t choose the one bedroom closest to the bar, but both bedrooms had white noice machines just in case.

Host promptly answered all questions, even before booking, offered sugggestions on things to do and place to eat. Location was clean, great location, great ammenities. Host also reminded us of check out rules to ensure we wouldn't receive fees. Will definitely return if in the area.

Great location as you can walk to several restaurants. Honeymoon Island beach is a short drive and the day we spent on Caladesi Island was awesome. Short drive to Dunedin and not much further to Tarpon Springs

Comfortable & Convenient

This was my first visit to Dunedin, and I split my stay between here, and another place downtown. I stayed here because I wanted the convenience of easily biking to Honeymoon Island and fishing off the causeway. You can't get much closer to the island without actually staying on it! The accommodation itself was spotless, with super comfy beds and a big kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet, but if you want to mingle with some locals, then Hurricane Eddies is within spittin' distance from the apartment. Communication with the owner was top-notch from booking to check-out. I highly recommend a stay here, particularly if you are more interested in the island than downtown (but, downtown is only two or three miles away).

Very convenient and such a cute property. We never heard any noise or music coming from the bar across the street and we were in #4 closest to the bar. Free pass to Honeymoon Island saves $8 a day. We never ran out of paper products with 3 girls for 4 nights. Washer and dryer and detergent were a big convenience for washing our beach towels. The unit had everything we needed even for cooking meals. Great ice maker and water on the fridge tastes great. Overall an amazing stay with lots of good information and communication from Karen. Thank you Karen!!! We will definitely be back. FYI: Bath towels are really small so we used the beach towels instead. Beach chairs provided were very low to the ground.

Ive been renting cottages for 43 years and Mai Tai Suites was the best overall cottage. It had everything I needed and more. Beach towels and a cooler for example. Easy to communicate with the owner. Local information provided in advance so I could plan my stay. It was quiet at night, always a plus. Great location. Comfy beds and linens. Beautifully furnished. I'll be back.

Immaculate!! Great location!!

This property was an absolute dream!!! Extremely clean, great location, and the host was amazing. She checked in with us daily to make sure we had everything we needed. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will definitely be back!!
