Updated Beachfront Balcony - Beach Place #312

Three Bedroom two bath direct beach front unit. Access balcony from living room and master bedroom. Master bedroom has king bed and walk in closet. Second bedroom has 2 queen beds and ample closet space. Third bedroom has 1 queen bed. Great family sized unit with amazing sunset, gulf and beach views. Watch the boats come and go into John's Pass and listen to the waves from the balcony and master suite. Large updated granite kitchen. Baths also have been updated with new cabinetry & granite. Free Wifi. 7 night rental minimum, Saturday arrival/departure required. Call for exceptions.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

When staying in a SunHost unit you will also have access to onsite 7 day a week management and maintenance to assist with anything you might need. This is a non smoking home that has 2 assigned parking spots. There is no additional parking at Beach Place.

The best part though, is 312 Beach Place is close to everything! Within moments you are swimming in the heated pool, diving in the clear gulf waters, cooking at the BBQ's, or eating at one of the many great restaurants at John's Pass Village. A quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction, the Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination. Anchor tenants include Bubba Gumps, Hooters and Hubbards Marina and also world famous Bamboo Beer Garden.

Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. Its 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. This Gulf getaway has something for everyone, including dolphin watching, water sports along some of the most beautiful crystal clear waters in the world.

Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

Good location/Poor Beds/AC not great

This condo had a beautiful view. It is in a great location. The parking is easy under the building. The check in process was awesome.The pictures online are very deceptive. The condo does not look quite as pristine as the pictures. That is very understandable. Most condos are like that.The AC was not able to be turned below 72. The units air did not run because it is in between other units. It was very hot at night. It had a specific warning not to turn below 72 because the unit would freeze up.The beds were very old and very hard. Some of the ceiling was falling away, where there had been leaks. That created a certain smell within the condo.Overall, they need to fix the AC so you can turn it down so it will run during the night. Also, just need some updating and fixing. The kitchen was great. The only thing there is that the icemaker did not work.

Beachfront condo with direct access to John’s Pass

The cleanliness and accuracy are the only areas that were not perfect. We booked this location based off the photos. When new, the photos would have been spot on! However, appliances showed rust, the throw carpets were old and dirty, and the ice machine was broken to name a few things. Also the bed mattresses and frames need replaced. That being said the management communication was fantastic and the views were amazing! We also loved being only steps away from all the restaurants and shopping. All in all, we would consider staying here again, though maybe a more updated unit and on the top floor next time.

Would not stay at this unit again.

This property was not well stocked. Kitchen - only 2 small frypans and 2 small saucepans There were only 4 forks and no steak knives. Please note that it is a 3 BR condo and there were 6 of us. 2 out of the 3 TVs were on the fritz all week. Cable guy did not show up until Wednesday. We were told elevators would be out on Monday until maybe Tuesday morning - they did not come back up until Wednesday night - we had a 78 year old with us so this was an issue. The dishwasher did not work. There was no extra pillows/blankets and absolutely nothing for the beach - no beach towels, no chairs, nothing. The only real positive was Sun Host - they were easy to deal with, brought us silverware and knives to use, and were generally very pleasant. We would not stay here again.

Not Again

We booked this property last minute since our trip to Gulf Shores was cancelled due to the hurricane. This property has a great location right across from John's Pass and is a convenient walkout to the beach. This unit is a decent size. Overall quality wasn't bad, but there were several issues. The first and biggest issue was that one person from our party got locked out on the balcony for over an hour as the sliding door is damaged. It was incredibly hard to open. Once we got it open it wouldn't ever close fully. It pretty much stayed cracked about 2 inches the entire trip so be careful. We ended up having to leave the master bedroom door unlocked the entire trip to prevent lockouts on the balcony. We even called maintenance who agreed that the door needed to be replaced and said that its up to the owner of the company and there wasn't anything they could do to fix the door. The washing machine is SOOOO loud that you can't be in the unit while washing clothes. Finding time to wash clothes was difficult as we didn't all leave the unit at the same time, so whoever stayed behind had to deal with the volume. There's a nice note on the washing machine saying that it's loud, but I have the same machine at home and it's nowhere near the volume of the machine in the unit. And the elevators in this place are SLOW!! It's only one elevator per building, so prepare. There were some other minor issues with the unit but those didn't cause us really any issues on our trip. I'd return to this complex but not this unit.

Nice condo right on the beach. Comfortable beds and plenty of room for the 5 adults in our party for the week. We grilled fresh red snapper, we purchased right across the road at John's Pass. Had a Great time at the pool area. We would definitely stay here again if we came to Madiera Beach again.

Beautiful condo

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. This condo is very nice and well furnished. Beds are comfortable. I did have to clean the bathrooms upon arrival due to sand in both showers and used soap that was not removed. I would recommend this place to anyone. It worked well for our family of 5. Shaded parking spot was wonderful. Only complaints we had had nothing to do with the condo itself. The elevator is extremely slow and the noise from the pool at the condo next door was ridiculous. Apparently closing times of that pool are not enforced, some mornings it was 2 am when the noise stopped. I would rent this condo again, but not on the Fourth of July.

Perfect getaway

This is the second unit we have rented at Beach Place and through this property management firm and we couldn't have been happier! We love the location, right across from John's Pass for shopping and dining out, and just a short drive from the grocery store when we wanted to dine in. We used the grills for the first time this trip which was very convenient to use. The sunsets were fabulous! Since nothing is "perfect", the only blemishes were minor: condo didn't have any pot holders and the washing machine was VERY loud (thanks for the warning) but we just ran it while we were out. We liked being on the north end of the building, since it was a little quieter than overlooking the pool. We will definitely be back and can't wait to stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay, the beach and view of the beach, fantastic

The property was very straightforward and simple. Was as seen online. The view of the beach was spectacular. It would be extremely pleasant to have coffee filters and coffee there. And perhaps a box of tissue.

Fun and windy

Storm weather made it windy and beach rough but it's still a vacation right! Master bathroom shower needs drano badly....and washer is crazy loud so make sure it's done while you relax at beach vs ttying to watch TV or have conversation....otherwise we got the grocery store and got stuff that was needed yet John's Pass was a fantastic place to eat and shop....and have ice cream with the kids...

We enjoyed our stay and there was only one problem. The condo below us was being renovated and they were apparently ripping up tiles and the tool they were using had our floor vibrating and it was very loud. It was a few days of this so not a good thing. But, the furniture was very comfortable and the view awesome!!!

The condo was nice and sunset view spectacular. Only complaint was wi-fi was iffy and kept losing signal. We had two college kids that were working on projects and couldnt get them to upload. Otherwise was very nice, clean and comfortable.

Family vacation / reunion

What a lovely place! This condo was clean, quiet and comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen only lacked in storage containers for leftovers but we managed with a little innovation. The rest of the home was lovely. The view of the Gulf was breathtaking and the sunsets were gorgeous. The beach was well groomed and though quite crowded during the weekend during the week it was pleasant. I can't wait to go back!

Nice location but improvements needed

Great location. Very close to shops and eating places. The condo could use some updates to make it a bit nicer. They don't supply much to make the stay more fun and enjoyable. You will have supply some of the basics which is usually supplies in other places that we have stayed. There are NO beach towel or chairs or things to take to the beach - that is a real issue when you are traveling and can't take it with you on the airplane. There isn't even salt and pepper in the place. Very short supply of garbage bags, dish soap and toilet paper. Not even any laundry detergent. Not happy with the charge that we had on the credit card for making the reservation - never saw anywhere that there was a fee to book the place. Not the condo owners fault but still had a impact on the experience.
