Beautiful Condo

This was an amazing property. The condo was clean and ready for us when we arrived. It was great being able to walk downstairs and right onto the beach. There was plenty of room for all of us (6) to hang out and spend time together.

The condo was clean and renovated. Beach chairs and umbrellas were provided. Laundry detergent pods and dishwasher pods to get you started was a nice touch. Plenty of towels for the bath and beach. I would stay here again.

Amazing Family Vacation!

This condo was the perfect for my family’s mini vacation! It was very clean and spacious. Located on the 2nd leave so most of the time my boys would race us on the stairs if we took the elevator. Easy access to the beach! Didn’t have any noise neighbors and not crowded at all!! Thank you for letting us use your condo! We had the best time and look forward to being back!

First impression was not good. Our group consisted of 5 women over 50 and we get in and the elevator was out of service and had been for over a week according to other people. So imagine how many bags we had to drag up the steps between the luggage and groceries. Was never fixed during our visit. Once inside the place was beautiful, spacious and clean. Really enjoyed the pool and beach areas. However the bird sanctuary outside could be loud and smelly at times if on the deck. But you could not hear or smell when inside the house.

Great Condo!

The Condo was exactly as it was described. The Condo was super clean and very comfortable for the six of us that stayed. The condo had recently been updated and you it was very evident that was the case. The beds were all very comfortable. The common areas were all big and the dining table was the perfect size for all of us to hang out and play games. The condo does sit next to the Bird Sanctuary and at times there is a pungent smell, but it was not overbearing and wasn't all the time. I definitely recommend this condo any time of the year.

1st Family Vacation

Took daughter,SIL, and grandbabies under 3. Area was wonderful beach was out the back door of complex. Pool area was big with lots of chairs tables and umbrellas. Security for property and beach area was very good. Two parking spots. Condo was very clean except for the floors. Which we wouldn’t have noticed as much if didn’t have a crawler. Condo was very updated with great finishings. Very space for 6 people, plenty of sleeping room. All adults got their own beds!!! They had everything for beach including wagon, chairs, sun tent and more!!! Balcony was private with small view of gulf. Over looking the Bird Sanctuary and rescue next door. Could get noisy outside and one day the smell was to much. But we loved watching the birds. Once you closed the heavy hurricane sliders you couldn’t hear a thing. Loved our stay and this area. Not to commercial but everything within 5 minutes. Would defiantly recommend!!!!

This was our second visit to Indian Shores. We will not stay in this condo again. Just like two previous reviews stated, (and I missed), there are problems with the company and checking-in, and the balcony/condo is located directly by a smelly bird sanctuary. First, we were given the wrong building access code. I called the company at least six times as we were locked out at 1 am (delayed flight). They NEVER called me back - even the next day! Luckily, another tenant was able to help. Otherwise, I would have had to call an Uber and find a hotel with my three children in the middle of the night. I was sadly shocked to read this has happened before and has not been resolved. As for the bird sanctuary, let me describe this... hundreds of various types of birds in a netted area, buckets of dead fish dumped in daily, standing pools of water, 90+ degrees... the odor is awful! We typically enjoy our balconies, but not this year. I would not recommend this company or particular unit.

Great place!

We stayed at this property for 5 nights with 5 people. The space is exactly as shown in the pictures - very bright and clean and the unit had everything we'd expect a rental unit to have! This unit is located on the 2nd floor and it very close to the pool area - just about 12 steps up/down to get there and a quick walk. Easy for my mom who has some mobility issues, which was important for us. The building was very quiet - we never heard any neighbors and everyone was repectful of the shared spaces. The area was great - restaurants within walking distance and having the beach right out front was amazing. As others have noted, the bird rescue is right nextdoor and the outdoor/balcony space of this unit overlooks the area. The birds are vocal(!) but we didn't mind the fuss! We heard from some other visitors in the building that they occationally notice a smell when the wind was just so, but we didn't find it an issue. But good to note if those sort of things are bothersome to you. We'd definitely stay here again - worked well for our family (2 adults, 2 kids, 1 senior). thanks!

Beautiful condo on a stunning beach!

We loved our stay. The condo was clean, and had all of the amenities and space that we needed, including beach chairs, umbrella and cooler! The heated pool and hot tub was lovely too! The outdoor grills were handy and fully equipped kitchen, great for eating in. We enjoyed kayaking through the mangroves and seeing wildlife. Loved walking and jogging for miles on the shore. Quite a memorable trip, we will be back!

Very Nice Stay!

This is a large, very recently updated, 2nd floor, partial view, condo. It is what you see in the pics. Beautifully updated, clean, and very nicely furnished. This unit has to be the one of the nicest in the building. Pros: Size, updates, furnishings, cleanliness, beach access, parking, pool, location, building. Cons: very few. Unit location is on the 2nd floor, south side of the building - Cottages building 1. This particular unit looks right over the bird sanctuary -which is it's biggest con. It can really stink out on the balcony when the wind blows from the south. You will need to keep the windows and sliders shut. Also, there is a very limited view of the ocean from the balcony. Overall, great stay. We would consider staying at this location again.

Wished we could stay longer

We checked in the day a major winter storm swept across the country. There was a minor issue with check-in, as we were given the wrong access code, but the management company helped us get in even though it was late in the evening when we called for assistance. We found the condo unit exactly as it was described. Very clean and much larger than we expected. They really tried to think of everything and I don’t mean that casually. The kitchen drawer contents were organized with military precision. We had all the creature comforts a vacationing family could reasonably expect. We had paddle boards delivered by Rad Rentals. Inshore fishing charter by Sliprock (say hello to Captain Phil for us!). Cabana rental on the beach was a no-brainer. Tons of restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops, boat rentals, churches, etc. within walking distance or an easy drive. The balcony overlooks a bird sanctuary, and though it’s not an ocean view, we thoroughly enjoyed the birds. I think maybe some maintenance is being overlooked. Several of the bathroom vanity drawers didn’t slide/close properly because they weren’t installed on their tracks correctly, which I was able to fix myself. The biggest issue is we didn’t have heat while we were there. It wasn’t an issue when the weather improved the last half of the week, but temperatures inside the condo stayed in the low/mid-60s. I checked the thermostat and it was set to “heat” but only cold air would blow through the vents. The smoke detector in the kitchen began chirping midweek and the electronic combination lock on the front door stopped working the day before we checked out. I’m not sure if maintenance ever came to check on the furnace or door lock, but I know the smoke detector battery was never changed while we were there. All told, it was far from a 5-star experience, but we would most definitely return for another stay.

Great Condo

Myself and 3 friends stayed here for my birthday. The condo was great and looked exactly like the pictures. It was very comfortable. Great beach access and close to lots of things to do. I would definitely stay here again!
