"The property is old, that is a given but poor cleaning doesn’t help. There is hard water stains around all the faucets and drains. The air conditioning units and room vents have heavy dust buildup. The closet had things in the corner from long ago. The bathroom mirror had spots that I hadn’t created and I think a dirty cloth was used to clean the hallway mirror. Big stains like the ones I had on my carpet should be patched up if the carpet is still made. These things were noticeable gross and...

"The room was really cold and I could not figure out how to adjust the temperature. The room was dirty when I arrived. There was muddy footprints in the shower and I found dirt on the shirts indicating they hadn't been changed. There were no additional blankets the bedding covers are minimal so I was very cold sleeping here. "

"I didnt realize that Candlewood Suites has no morning breakfast and that was a let down. I like IHG hotels but may not stay at CW Suites in the future if they dont have breakfast"

"Mattresses are in bad shape, so worn you roll to the middle. Never saw a staff member at The Lodge other than check in at main hotel whom was very pleasant and accommodating. Place just looks tired inside but was very quiet in The Lodge which I appreciate for a hotel. "

"Parking was easy. Check in was easy. Room was clean, ice machine worked and air was cold enough. Tv had channels that actually had something on I'd watch. Breakfast was there, juice was warm, they had no extra pillows when I asked."

"It served its purpose as a place to stay near the campus of Miami University and allowed our dog to come for an extra $20 / night pet fee. The staff was polite and helpful. The room was clean. It took us 2 minutes to drive to the campus and see our son. Per friendly was our best concern and this place allowed us to take our dog and be near campus so we did not waste time drive back and forth from the hotel to campus. I'll stay here again for the price."

"Got this room to stay for a couple hours before catching a flight at the Cincinnati airport, which wasn’t a far drive. The room was in okay condition mostly clean. Beds were clean & comfortable. Staff was friendly. They had breakfast out earlier than expected which was nice. "
