The perfect quiet place to unwind!

Master room boasts a super comfy king bed, a stylish built-in wall dresser, mock fireplace, as well as a riverfront balcony.

Loft is great for lovers of Boho style, queen bed w/ ample space to stretch out for yoga as well as a private crow’s nest balcony!

3rd bed(twin) can be found in a repurposed library room.

Take a dip in the jetted jacuzzi tub that looks out over the river.

A full kitchen awaits your cooking needs!

Large private dressing/makeup room is a favorite!

This is a quiet/peaceful property- No parties, yelling, or loud music please.

The space
Very spacious 3 bed 2 bath 3 balcony unit with private makeup/dressing room!
Located on 2nd story of this building.
1st floor is a completely separate unit.

This is located on a private road with 5 other homes on it.
Next door is a small boat ramp and other cabins. About a block away, you can expect to see a boat shop and storage units for boats. 1 mile away, there are baseball fields and the beginning of the Riverwalk Trail that leads to historic downtown St. Joseph! Two miles away is the casino and brand new mountain bike trails.
If you’re looking for an authentic riverfront getaway, with neighbors that will welcome you like family and a sunset view that never gets old, you will love it here.

Note: There is a train that passes by about a block and a half away so if you’re a light sleeper, sleep in the room closest to the river or use a white noise app or fan!
Fireplace is just for looks but you're welcome to the outdoor fire pit!
Fire wood is available for purchase on site and supports a local retired farmer.

Guest access
The entire unit is yours! The parking area is available to you as well the yard!
Other things to note
No smoking, vaping, or burning anything at all inside the unit.
Feel free to smoke outside, but PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CIGARETTE BUTTS MAKE IT INTO THE TRASH!
We care about wildlife and keeping the outside clean so they can flourish.

You are in an upstairs unit, so please be aware and respectful to the people below you. They will surely appreciate it!

Dated and dark

I would not stay here again or recommend it. It was dark and dated and needs a good deep clean. It was hot, and the units didn’t not cool it to a comfortable temperature until into the night. The place and the furniture needs updating and some maintenance. The layout was awkward, and the photos make it look way better than it is. Also, it is not a child-friendly space.The trash was not taken out from the previous occupant either.it was not a great neighborhood either.

Enjoyable Stay

Was in town for a loss in the family; Anthony was accommodating and the place was comfortable. Everything was well communicated about directions etc. parking is limited; and parked on the other side of the shop and Anthony contacted me to make sure we moved so we didn’t get towed. I think the heat was on when we arrived because it was so hot but by the second day we figured out the floor heater was on in the bathroom. If you stay in the loft; it is warmer. Steps are slick going up to the loft and there isn’t really a railing so be careful! If you bring a dog, be prepared for other dogs and a cat to be walking around. Otherwise, very nice stay and really enjoyed the sunsets! I think the rental was once an old grill, or restaurant possibly sunset grill or something and seeing all the details and interesting doorways etc was neat!

Beautiful stay

Booked due to being in my sisters wedding- so I had to be in and out for setting up reception hall. Saying this, I wish I had more time to spend at the bnb on its own. It was beautiful, clean and peaceful.Normal house amenities (fridge& microwave) were on site. Plenty of space to set up my dog's kennel so he had his own "space" as well.I don't recommend anyone that gets hot easy to take the twin bed room due to air flow, but leaving the door open at night helps.I wish I knew what brand the mattresses were because they were SO comfortable! You really could get the best sleep on those beds.Overall lovely stay.Wish i knew what type of mattresses t

Nice secluded little apartment!!!

We had an amazing time and the host was super great! A little scary being that close to the river, but we did get to see a couple boats go up the river which my kiddos had never seen! Great experience!! Would stay again!!!!

Getaway turned into greatness!

Me and my boyfriend was skeptical at first but after we got in completely we were amazed! We grilled out back we really enjoyed our time. Beautiful place will be recommending and will be back again!

Weird location fabulous stay!

It is JUST as charming as the pictures. The view is fabulous and for the most part it was clean. However- did find a used qtip.. that was cringy. The location is a bit sketchy (kinda in an industrial area. ) loves the stay and it wa beautiful but we arrived in the dark and it was a little scary. Also, it which and the steps to the second floor were VERY icy. My fault for not letting the property manager know because I bet he would’ve fixed it because he’s super responsive.
