Listen to the sounds of the waves crashing in your backyard as you relax in your completely renovated beachfront home! The house is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico with a $200,000 interior remodel and $75000 Outdoor Living Deck! On the back porch, you have a clear view of watching the kids play on the beach and on the front porch, you can relax while the kids are playing at the park or join in the fun by playing pickleball or basketball since it is the 4th house from the lighthouse. Walk to all restaurants and stores within 5 minutes. Inside has 3 bedrooms each with full bath, plus additional 1/2 bath on the living room/kitchen level. Each bedroom is private with door. The third bedroom is not a loft, like most of the other cottage homes. “Boats" theme room is the master bedroom located on the first level. It has a king with a Prestige Supreme memory foam bed 16' thickness and 50" LED tv and shower. The "Sea Horse" theme bedroom has a full-size bunk bed with twin trundle (2 full size & 1 twin size) and is located on the 1st floor next to the master bedroom. All mattresses are LUCID memory foam, full size are 14" thick and twin trundle is 10" thick. There is a 40" tv and bathtub shower combo. There is also a stackable washer/dryer located on the first floor. The "Seashells & Starfish” theme bedroom is located on the third floor and it has a queen size LUCID memory foam 16" thick mattress. It also has an inflatable twin mattress in the closet. It has a 32" LED tv and shower. Living room television is a 65" Smart TV and all televisions have 150 plus channels, including HBO, Showtime and Cinemax. The living room has a queen size inflatable. Enjoy cooking meals in the newly remodeled kitchen. Kitchen has quartz countertops and soft close wood cabinets. Refrigerator has dual ice machine which is great for filling a cooler and has has filtered water and ice. Spiral staircase off living room gives direct access to beach and has extended balcony for outdoor dining. Rainy days? No problem! Enjoy the retro game system (an actual arcade game) with all your favorite 80's games and 10+ board games or spend time on the the bottom level Family Party Deck which includes sofa seating area, a KETTLER professional ping pong table, corn hole, giant connect 4, and outdoor shower. Not an inch of carpet and all linen including quilts are bleached between stays unlike other properties. 44 On The Shore has a no pet policy, no shoes inside and no smoking/vaping/drugs policy to ensure a hypoallergenic environment. It is super-clean! We do not rent on craigslist only on vrbo! Ready for your ultimate beach vacation?

We loved our stay! 10/10 as my kids like to say. The property is steps away from the park which our kids loved playing at throughout the week. We walked to donuts, The Blue Parrot for dinners, the ice cream shop, candy shop and grocery store. We even walked to the shop down the road and rented bikes one day which was fun. The home is as pictured, well maintained. I appreciated the beach chairs/wagon and other beach items that were available for use. Plenty of beach towels and bath towels available. My 7 year old LOVED the arcade system. The beach is so close to the house and so quiet. No fighting for a spot on the beach at 5 am! We are already checking calendars so that we can plan our next visit.

We loved this Luxury Beachfront House on St. George Island. It was exactly as it was listed and even better. Many amenities we didn’t even expect. The beds were very comfortable.The booking, check-in, and check out process was amazingly easy. Christine was easy to communicate with by text and always helpful; wanting our stay to be wonderful. This home is centrally located and right on the beach. Wake to a beautiful sunrise over the ocean, set up your beach camp right in front of “your place” everyday, and listen to the crashing waves each evening at sunset; paradise!We can’t wait to book this home again.

This was our third year in a row staying here. We love the location and how peaceful the beach is. It is close to all the shops and restaurants. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with! There were new chairs this year as well as a beach cart. We hope to stay here again in the future!

The location of the home is fabulous and the owner was extremely responsive. Although there were some minor issues(couch breaking, smoke detectors missing, no ping pong table), the owner sent maintenance to address what she could. The boardwalk down to the beach is falling apart and made us a little nervous for the kids safety. When the concern was shared, the owner said she has been trying to address the issue but that portion of the walk is shared with the neighboring house who won't agree to replace it. Overall, it is a fabulous home and we would definitely return for another stay.

Another Perfect Stay!

This was our 4th summer staying for a week in this property. It really is the most perfect vacation for our family! The house is beautiful and functional with a well equipped kitchen. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and though we bring our beach chairs we did noticed there were brand new chairs and a new beach caddy this year. It's walking distance to anywhere you'd need or want to go - fresh fish truck right outside; coffee truck around the corner; playground and basketball / pickleball courts right outside; less than 5 min walk to the Piggly Wiggly, Blue Parrot, Weber's Donuts, Paddy's Raw Bar, & Aunt Ebby's Ice Cream. The owner, Christina, is great with communication - super quick to respond. We can't wait to come back next year!

The check-in process was fantastic we were able to check in two hours early, which was a great start. The owner was responsive and easy to work with, and we appreciated that. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended.The house was not what we expected. It was dirty and felt like it was falling apart in many places. One of our biggest concerns was safety: the front door had no blinds or coverings, meaning anyone could see directly into the condo at all times. Even worse, there was no way to lock the door from the inside, so anyone with a code could potentially enter we never felt fully secure.The back sliding glass door was broken and extremely difficult to use throughout our stay. While the owner did offer to have someone come fix it, we didn’t want workers coming in and out while we were on vacation. The listing also mentioned a ping pong table, but when we inquired, we were told it was taken out by a storm last year. If it's no longer available, it really shouldn't be advertised.There were other maintenance issues too: none of the lights worked in the lower outdoor area, making it unusable at night. The spiral staircase is slippery when wet. The patio lights were hanging loosely by wires, and the walkway to the beach is in rough shape with soft, old wood. We had to wear shoes at all times outside just to feel safe walking. Also 4 houses from the public access you need to get up early, 6:30am or sooner or you won't have a spot for your family.

Perfect location!

Property owner was very communicative, check in and out instructions were simple and clear, the house was perfectly located and stocked with everything you could need including indoor and outdoor games. The view on the second floor of the beach was the best one out of all the houses on the strip because of the large windows. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location!

We loved our time at 44 on the Shore! The house is super cute and well-appointed and you cannot beat the location. Walk right out to the beach and walk to restaurants and shops. Check in was a breeze and communication with the property manager was fantastic. Highly recommend!!

Nice Weekend

We decided on a very last minute getaway and we lucked into 44 on the Shore! It has all of the amenities we wanted. The house is exactly as described. The deck has comfortable furniture to enjoy the view with a morning coffee or an evening cocktail. We especially loved the location with easy access to the grocery store, a beach bar, and donut shop (cash only) We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Spring Break 2025

We chose St. George Island for our Spring Break trip and we had the best week! We wanted a place right on the beach and this place did not disappoint. We enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning.
