Wind down at "On the Half Shell" (formerly known as "One More Day"). On the Half Shell offers 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, open great room, private pool (can be heated for a fee), glorious Gulf views, quick and easy beach access just steps away, and tons of fun for the whole family!

Bells and whistles and creature comforts galore makes On the Half Shell your perfect St. George Island retreat! With the whole house on one living level, there is room to gather and enjoy each other, or retreat to one of the 4 private bedrooms.

The central great room offers an open concept to enjoy each other during your precious vacation time together. The fully equipped kitchen is the center of activity for laughter and togetherness while cooking up the day's catch! The open living area makes late night movie watching on the big flat screen comfortable and relaxing.

The King Master Suite boasts a flat screen TV, walk-in closet, private bath with soaker tub, separate shower, double vanity and water closet. Views of the Gulf are enjoyed from the master suite and deck access is easy through the private access.

The second bedroom, also with King bed, flat screen TV, and private bath with stand up shower, has Gulf views and private access to the deck.

The third bedroom also has a King bed, flat screen TV, and a private bathroom with stand up shower.

Fun for the kids is found in the 4th bedroom with a Twin-over-Full bunk bed plus an additional twin. The 4th bathroom is just outside the bedroom door and common to the great room.

Its all about the outdoors on St. George Island! Plentiful deck furnishings provide the perfect spot to enjoy that morning cup of java or the evening sunsets, all with great views of the Gulf of Mexico. The private pool (can be heated for a fee) with abundant deck furnishings is a refreshing retreat from a day in the sun.

The boardwalk to the beach is about 75 steps from On the Half Shell - a quick and easy walk to the white sands of St. George Island's pristine beaches.

To assist in your adventure at On the Half Shell, your reservation includes $300 worth of adventure gear rental. Whether your adventure is sitting under an umbrella on the white-sandy beaches, biking, or fishing from a kayak in the Bay, this $300 credit towards your vacation gear rental will ensure you have the adventure you seek. You will be able to shop for bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, or even beach carts. No need to find the rental company, your gear will be delivered to your beach house and will be waiting for your arrival.

Bringing a pet or want pool heat? Either one can be arranged for additional fee (please note that pool heat will only raise the water temperature 10 degrees above the outside temperature). No events allowed that are over the occupancy of the house or groups that require a chaperone. We strictly adhere to a minimum age limit.
