The kitchen staff were brilliant. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel made it especially great due to the amenities nearby in the plaza and fuel station. "Although it was a short stay, I had a very nice single room with a beautiful view over the sea and an ensuite bathroom. It was all perfect and very good value. Clive and Alicia were warm and welcoming, and helped me out with a late arrival and early departure. Could not recommend more highly."

"Pros - Free Parking - Near Centre - Swimming Pool - Shower Pressure - Radiator in the Room Cons - Booked 2 x twin rooms but only gave one key card. When we asked and received the second card it blocked access for the original card. This happened for both rooms we booked. - We stayed 4 nights, it's frustrating that you have to request cleaning by 10am for the following day. - When cleaning was requested, they made the bed but did not clean the bathroom or replace the towels. "The room was spacious and well provided. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good offering a large choice of options. Dinner menu was also excellent and the food was fresh and well prepared."

"Just not very good, reasonable price but not really budget or bargain, Great location next to the train, Great Western beach and Pub, Just not a very good hotel. The single room is tiny with a tiny bed and looks more like a student doss house. No air con, fan doesn't work, no lift to the 3rd floor. Staff often not available at all, has a chintzy looking restaurant in the front but no idea what or if they serve, so many better places to eat, or stay for that matter. Tired."

"Wow! I really couldn’t recommend staying here enough! A short walk down to the harbour. Beautiful views! The place itself was stunning. So clean. The beds were super comfy and the host was so lovely. We have really had a lovely weekend. Can’t Thankyou enough! "

"The rooms could do with some updating but they were clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel was relaxing and welcoming. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were very nice. The hotel was very close to the train station and beaches. The hotel could benefit from the outside windows cleaning as they were full of bird poo and hard to see through . All in all a good comfortable stay."

"Good breakfast and good Bar Difficult getting into shower (for our age 79) as it was over the bath which was high even though there was a hand hold"

"An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months"
