We stayed two nights in this cozy cottage. Sheri the host thought of everything as far as amenities. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, great outdoor seating area. Walking distance to St George street. Quiet neighborhood and safe. Highly recommend staying here. Sherri is a very attentive host.

This is a beautiful property! Everything you would need is supplied. 1/2 mile from the heart of historic St Augustine. We walked everywhere. Quick, easy communication with the host. My granddaughter and I had a wonderful weekend trip. Would definitely come here again.

Sherri is probably the best host we have ever had in one of our VRBO rentals. This property is immaculate and gorgeous. The house was perfect for us with so many thoughtful amenities and provisions, and it could easily be a spread in Southern Living magazine. It’s beautiful! Sherri and her husband have given such care to all of the finishes and the decor, making it refreshing and pleasing to our souls and spirits. We are definitely hoping to come back again for a longer stay! The house is very well situated to all Saint Augustine offers. Sherri even offered several suggestions for us on great places to eat and none of them disappointed! Be sure you go to the St. Augustine Fish Camp which is real close by. We also enjoyed Casa Reina, Harry’s, and a long time favorite of ours kept The Columbia (all within 5 to 8 minutes from the house. This is a 10/10 property that we will recommend to friends and family! There’s not one detail that we would’ve changed or anything we would’ve added to make the house more comfortable and appealing. Our thanks to our great hosts!

A Great Place to Stay!

We recently rented The Mermaid's Tale for our short stay in St. Augustine. The cottage had everything we needed for our trip. It was clean, cozy, well-stocked and Sherri was an attentive host. Walking to St.George Street only took a few minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely book this rental again in the future!

All we could have hoped for

I booked this trip to celebrate my granddaughter and my birthday. We had a great time!! The Mermaid’s Tail was not only in a great location, but it was also an adorable home. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck each night having wonderful conversations together. We created some beautiful memories!! Thank you for everything, Sherri!
