  • Welcome to our one-of-a-kind accommodation option in Downtown St. Augustine! If you're looking for a unique and memorable stay, you've come to the right place. Our property has undergone a Peace, Love & Happiness-inspired renovation, and the results are truly extraordinary. We poured our love into every piece of this build.

    As soon as you step inside, you'll be captivated by the artistry that went into creating this space. Local artisans poured their talent into crafting the handmade kitchen and bathroom cabinets, and out of state crafters handmade the beds and headboards. The centerpiece of the kitchen is an exquisite red cedar epoxy island countertop, a true work of art in itself, created by a local St. Augustine crew.

    One of the most eye-catching features is the wall adorned with the renowned "Spread Love" graffiti and a stunning St. Augustine mural greeting you outside, which sets the tone for the entire space. This graffiti art not only adds a unique character to the property but also serves as a constant reminder of the positive vibes and love that permeates your stay here.

    The outside space is appropriately named The Bamboo Garden. In the corner you'll find tall bamboo, with colorful bottle caps lining the ground underneath. A picnic table, games, and cafe lights lend to a peaceful break from touring the city.

    Our property is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience, a celebration of art, love, and positivity. We invite you to immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere we've created, and to explore the vibrant city of St. Augustine, knowing that you can always return to your peaceful and eclectic sanctuary. Peace, Love and happiness await you here, and we can't wait to share it with you.

    IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

    Need more space? In the front of the property we have a separate Vacation Rental. Separate parking and entrances, and no shared space. We welcome your friends or family to book our Artsy, 2 bed/2 bath Cottage that sleeps 4-6 guests! Guests will find 2 King en suites, plus an additional twin over full Renovation Hardware bunk bed in the second suite. A delightful screened in porch separates the two suites. In front, is a porch with 2 rocking chairs. Life is Good!

My family and I stayed at the Art House March 10 through March 13, 2026. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, it was the most perfect stay! The location is fantastic, so many sites and restaurants are within walking distance. The house is exceptionally clean, the beds are comfortable and the decor is incredible! We were all astounded at the love and care that was put into the home. If you’re traveling to Saint Augustine, and you want a truly amazing and uplifting experience that will put a smile on your face, stay at the Art House! It’s that memorable!!

We had the best time at The Art House! Truly a unique, spotless place with everything you need—and so many thoughtful extras. You really only need to bring your clothes. The beds are very comfortable, and I loved all the little Love Signs—they made you feel so welcomed. The location is perfect; we walked everywhere with our three teenage daughters. Can't wait to visit again!

This place is the absolute best and the hosts are gems! This is our second time staying in one of Wendy & David's properties, and our experience could not have been better. The Arthouse was immaculately clean, filled with joy and charm, and a cozy and comfortable home base for 4 (admittedly bougie and snobby) women to enjoy a fabulous girls' weekend in St A. We cannot wait to come back next year!

From the moment we walked into the “Love Shack, realized it was far, the best We have ever stayed.

Without a doubt, every square inch of the love shack kept us in awe. While being very artistically done, it was cozy and fun.

Great vibes in St Augustine

I wish we could give a 10 star review! We stay at a lot of rental properties and this one was by far the best. It was clear to see all the love and care put into the house and every possible need was accounted for. Easy access to town, restaurants and beach, the hosts were responsive and so accommodating- literally can’t say enough good things for this special home away from home!

Awesome house

We loved everything about the house! Spacious yet very cozy. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The toiletries were appreciated as I always forget something. The detail of the decor was great! My friends and I would definitely come back!

Our friends group loved our stay at the Art House. Fun, comfortable, clean, it will be hard for you to leave this place to explore St Augustine and the rest of northeast Florida which we found to be full of vibrant neighborhoods, beautiful beaches, and lots of great food. But at the end of the day, you will be excited to return to your rental to relax and unwind and enjoy the creativity of the Art House!

Amazing house for an amazing weekend

The house was absolutely beautiful, perfectly matched the pictures online. It was super clean, all the designs and layout were well thought out, Wendy and David were very friendly and quick to respond. Absolutely hope to stay here in the future again, 5/5 stars.
