I can’t say enough positive things about our recent stay! Shelley was so quick to respond and made sure every last touch was perfect! My boys loved the little snacks she left and the welcome card was so special! The house was immaculate and the beds were so comfortable! It stormed while we were there, so we were able to relax on the back and front porch! Both areas were very quiet and welcoming! The neighborhood was quiet and located in an area that was convenient to town and the beach! Thank you, Ms. Shelley, for hosting my boys and me. Everything was perfect!! We will visit again soon!

Beach Hideaway

It was awesome. Extra pillows and a fan for my wife to comfortably @ night. The Condo was very clean and very comfortably. After a long day on the beach, biking, paddle boarding and antique shopping, it was nice to back to a relaxing place that i could have call home. Communication was quick to the point, if we needed anything. We would love to stay the beach hideaway in the future. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

Perfect Anniversay Getaway

This is the second year my husband and I have stayed at Shelly's sweet retreat. It was just as nice as it was last year. Shelly welcomes you with a goody basket of snacks and drinks and a sweet card. She even gave us a gift card for donuts because it was our anniversary. The duplex is in a quiet neighborhood and just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Also, the entry way to park on the beach is right down the road. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the back deck as well as relaxing there in the evenings. Shelly has provided everything you would possibly need. The beds are super comfy, too. Everything is just like the pictures posted online. I can't say enough good things about this rental . We will be back!!!

Great Place to Stay

This is the 2nd time we have rented this house. Close walk to the beach. Walking distance. Beach area not crowded at all. House is clean, Beds are great, decorated nicely. Owners very helpful with any questions and quick to reply. Will definitely stay there again.

Summer Trip

This property is as described plus some! First off when we opened the door the place smelled so fresh and clean! The property owners had a welcome note and basket of drinks and snacks welcoming us to their home. The location is ideal with a short walk to the beach and a short drive to historic St. Augustine. The home is fully stocked with everything you need to cook including a crock pot, microwave, and toaster. We will definitely return on our next trip to St Augustine.

Excellent!!

This place was amazing! The place looks just like the pictures that are posted. Excellent location to the beach. Welcome snacks and letter gave a sweet, welcoming touch. Host was very friendly and answered any questions and even suggested the BEST doughnut place! We will definitely be going back and I would recommend this place to anyone who asked.

Sweet Retreat

This condo did not disappoint. It was exactly as it appeared in the pictures. The quaint little front porch was welcoming, and as soon as we walked in we felt at home. It was extremely clean and had so many added touches that made it feel cozy. All essentials and more were provided and the owner even left us a hand written card welcoming us and had a basket of goodies prepared for us. The beds were extremely comfy and we felt well rested. The back porch area was amazing. We enjoyed our morning coffee out there each morning and used the grill one evening. The beach was not to far away(you can walk there), but you can also drive on Crescent beach. I can't say enough good things about this place. We will be back. Don't hesitate to book, you will be greatly pleased. It does have a laundry room on the back porch and beach towels were provided.

Girls Weekend

My sister, mom, and I had the best time on our girls weekend! The place was so clean, decorated so cute, and they even had a welcome basket with snacks for us! It’s a short walk to the beach and in a quiet area. We will definitely be back!!

A great stay!!!

Jumping on to be sure to put in more than a few good words about this fabulous rental!!! My daughter's friend and her mom wanted to get away for a bit over spring (high school senior!!) break. They invited my daughter and the mom decided to ask me if I'd like to join too (so glad that I said yes...we didn't know each other well...yet! :)). I started casually looking (I love scouting out rental and lodging gems!!!). When I shared your listing, we were all in agreement that it looked like a perfect place and location. Wow!!! Were we right!!!! Everything was as described and better!! The home was perfect for 4! Comfortable and welcoming and a quick and easy walk to a beautiful and quiet beach!! Close enough that we felt super comfortable with the girls walking there together to spend a few hours each day. The outdoor areas were great for coffee and fresh air breaks.The area outback was probably my very favorite spot! My daughter and I were facing some fear and anxiety about not making it home, to our suddenly very sick pup (a long and sad story :( ),before our trip came to an end. I want the dear property owner, Shelley to know that her inspirational artwork and plaques along with quiet places to reflect and talk to my hubby caring for our pup back home, mattered and made an impact on me. Thank you Shelley!! Communication with Shelley was Fantastic!!! She was readily available, kind, and a joy!! A lovely host, beautiful area and a clean and cozy rental! Stay here!!

Weekeng Getaway.

We loved our stay. The property was very clean (I am extremely picky about cleanliness) and was thoughtfully decorated. We had everything we needed. Lots of nice details making the home feel cozy, and welcoming. Location is great, close to the beach. We will definitely be back. Property manager, Shelley was also great.

PHENOMENAL QUAINT GETAWAY SPOT

My husband and I decided to take a week honeymoon down in St. Augustine and we absolutely loved staying at this condo! The location was perfect for us (about 10 min south from the chaos of St. Augustine and just a few minutes walk off the beach) and we were delightfully surprised to learn we could rent bikes and bike all the way into St. Augustine from the condo with just 1 busy road crossing (which was a breeze). The condo was very clean, inviting, and the owner provided a small basket of treats that we appreciated throughout the week. All-in-all, communication with the owner was incredibly easy and cordial, and the condo exceeded our expectations. We loved being so close to the beach and just close enough to St. Augustine and a Publix that no trip for touristy things or groceries were ever an inconvenience. If you're looking for a nice little retreat, this 2 bed, 1.5 bath condo is great. The bedrooms were very well kept with fresh linens available and cozy bedding/blankets provided. We were not disappointed at all!

St. Augustine Cozy Haven

This was a weekend getaway for two couples, but one person was sick, unfortunately. We made the best of it and enjoyed everything about the area, cottage, beach and weekend! Everyone in our group felt that this VRBO was the nicest we have stayed in to-date. It feels very clean and fresh, and the decorations were just right. Something about the place puts you immediately at peace. Owner communication was top-notch!! Thanks Shelley for everything!

Great stay

Very clean, great decor, everything we needed plus extra touches. Snack basket and drinks. Great front and back sitting areas. Quiet neighborhood in close walking distance to the beach. Cozy furnishings and soft blankets. VERY well maintained property. Owner was great to deal with as well. 10/10 recommend this place! I hated to leave.

Family Vacation

This is our second stay at this property. As expected, Shelley makes sure that you have everything that you need. The property is just as clean and in order as the listing’s pictures. The location is perfectly located on Crescent Beach, away from all the traffic but close enough that the drive is not bad. Shelley’s hospitality is top level and you soon feel that you know her personally even though you don’t. But as they say, a stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet. Be like us and allow Shelley’s place to become your place. We cannot wait till our next visit!

A Beachy Getaway - Our Sweet Little Retreat in St. Augustine

Our stay in St. Augustine, Florida, from July 13th to 16th, was nothing short of wonderful. We had the pleasure of staying at a sweet little retreat, ideally located just a few minutes walk from the beach. The convenience of being so close to the ocean added a refreshing and relaxing touch to our vacation. The retreat itself was quaint and charming, providing all the comforts of home in a coastal setting. Its compact yet cozy design made it the perfect nest for our beachside adventures. After long days enjoying the sun and surf, coming back to our snug retreat was always a pleasure. The proximity to the beach made it easy for us to take advantage of early morning strolls and late afternoon swims. We savored the luxury of stepping outside and being greeted by the soothing sounds of the waves and the smell of the salty ocean air. St. Augustine offered us a delightful mix of historic charm and beachside relaxation. Our stay in the sweet little retreat amplified this experience, and we can’t wait to return. We highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable beachside getaway.
