    Nestled on the peaceful southern end of Anastasia Island, Cabana Escape is a canal-front retreat designed for relaxation, entertainment, and unforgettable gatherings. With a private heated pool, spacious accommodations, and a backyard built for outdoor living, this home offers the perfect balance of comfort and coastal charm.


    Please note: The home does not have a dock, and boats are not permitted in the canal behind the property.

    Bright & Inviting Interior – A modern, open-concept layout with a fully stocked kitchen makes cooking and connecting easy.

    Room for Everyone – 4 bedrooms plus a bonus relaxation room with a daybed and workspace provide plenty of space for families or groups.

    Outdoor Oasis – Lounge by the heated pool, grill out, or dine al fresco overseeing the canal.

    Close to the Beach – Just a quick 2-minute drive to private walkover beach access.

    Just minutes away, discover the magic of the Nation’s Oldest City. Stroll cobblestone streets, visit Castillo de San Marcos, tour the Oldest House and Schoolhouse, and explore Civil Rights history in Lincolnville.

    Food lovers will enjoy St. Augustine’s diverse dining scene, while families can spend the day at Marineland (swim with dolphins) or take the free boat ride at Fort Matanzas. Golfers will find plenty of nearby courses, and live entertainment is always on at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.


    Pet Policy

    Up to 2 dogs under 50 lbs welcome (no aggressive breeds; no cats).
    Non-refundable pet fee required.
    If your dog loves to cuddle on the furniture, please remember to bring a special blanket to cover the sofa or bed where they will be resting.
    Failure to disclose pets = pet fee + $100 cleaning charge.



    Pool & Maintenance

    According to St. John’s County regulations, there are designated pool quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM.

    Heated between 78–85°F (seasonal/weather dependent). The pool will have difficulties to stay heated if the daytime temperature doesn't get above 55 deg
    Pool service: Tuesdays (chemicals) & Fridays (cleaning) (subject to change)
    Landscaping: Thursdays (subject to change).


    House Rules

    Maximum occupancy: 10 adults (children under 12 excluded per county rules). According to St. Johns County regulations, there are designated pool quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM. No Parties allowed at the house
    Starter supplies provided (toilet paper, trash bags, dish/laundry soap). Guests should plan to replenish during their stay.
    Parking: max 4 cars, parking only in the driveway.
    Garbage & recycling: curbside Sunday night for Monday pickup.
    Hurricane season: No refunds or rescheduling, even for evacuation orders. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

We had a wonderful time here! The layout of the home was perfect for our 3 generational stay. When the weather tried to disrupt us we played the games there, and anything we needed the host was so very quick to respond to. Honestly, there was so much to do and enjoy!

Great host and responds quickly. House was very clean and comfortable with plenty of towels for both bathing and the pool. The back patio and pool were fantastic. When we come back for another visit we will definitely book this property again.

This house was perfect for 2 families with younger kids! We had so much fun and Dirk was great a communicator! Would definitely rent again if we are back in this area for vacation!

We stayed with our teenage grandchildren. The location was very convenient. The outdoor patio and pool were great. There was plenty of room to entertain my brother and his family that live nearby. Would definitely stay again.

This place was perfect for our 4 day Christmas stay. We really enjoyed the beautiful backyard space. We sat around a fire, fished right there in the backyard and swim in the pool. This place was fun for the whole family.

Check in was easy. Dirk was a great host! He made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The property was amazing and CLEAN! So many things to do within a very short drive! We’ll be back for sure!

The place was great. We stayed for the 4th of July and it was perfect for our family vacation. We were able to host everyone for dinner one night and there was plenty of space between the indoors and outdoors. Kids loved the pool, the bar area outside was great. Firepit perfect for s’mores. Dirk got back to us quickly with any questions we had. It was great. Also SUPER EASY checkout. No crazy requests or anything. No notes!

We enjoyed our New Year’s Eve. Stay here at this property. The house is very comfortable and we enjoyed the back patio area very much in the afternoons and early evenings. So peaceful here and we went to a nearby park to watch the sunset and also went to the beach on the first day of January to watch the sunrise.

The property was perfect for our family. We had 6 adults and 5 kids, 2 of them under 2 years old. We had plenty of room for everyone to enjoy time together as well as enough space to enjoy some solitary time when needed. :). There were plenty of dishes and enough cookware to make meals at the house, We went to the Crescent beachfront park, which was just a short drive away and loved it. It was spacious and didn’t feel crowded any time we went. We also liked that the house is not right in the ‘tourist’ area but only a short drive away from historic St Augustine and the business A1A.

Great host, fast response, the neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were nice. The heated pool was an added plus being that it was cold. House was clean and had everything you need expect for an iron. There are lots of games for the family to enjoy together . The fire pit was also a bonus. The beaches are beautiful in the area and a short drive away..
