Historic Bungalow Between Beach & Downtown

Welcome to Salt Run Stay — a lovingly restored 1928 bungalow in the heart of St. Augustine. Ideal for couples, friends, families and solo travelers, the bungalow is walking distance to the famous Lighthouse, Salt Run Inlet, a boat launch, numerous restaurants, cafes and the Alligator Farm. You can also easily bike to the Amphitheater, Anastasia State Park, and the historic downtown area.

Where old world meets new amenities, Salt Run Stay was remodeled in 2022 to preserve its storied past, while adding modern comforts and flair. With a light and bright sunroom, two bedrooms with ultra comfortable King beds, a spacious bathroom, an oversized couch, 50" Smart TV, a heated and enclosed outdoor shower, and a private backyard patio, Salt Run Stay is a wonderful place to call home while visiting the nation's Oldest City.

*No parties or events, with only four overnight guests allowed. Quiet hours after 10pm strictly enforced. We have wonderful neighbors — please respect them!

St augustine comfortable and quaint cottage

Over all our stay was Wonderful! The hosts were very communicable. The location was perfect! Tons of things to do nearby walking or exploring! Will definitely come back if we dont hit the R.V. park next!! Our 2025 Birthday week celebration was a success! Thanks to Zander, Isla and Tom!

Perfect location and adorable!

This is such a cute little place! Photos are definitely accurate and it’s even nicer in person. It was convenient to everything we wanted to do around the area. The owner was very responsive and checked on us to make sure we made it and didn’t need anything. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Great location. Nice neighborhood. Good kitchen although we did not cook. Newly updated. Bath stopper wouldn’t work. Would have been nice to have beach chairs.

Wonderful relaxing stay

The property is very nice furnished, it has a lot of space and it is located in a calm street. From there the beaches and downtown St. Augustine are not far away. Also some good restaurants are in walking distance. We had a great stay!

Charming bungalow in awesome location!!

This adorable house has everything you would ever need. It is about a five minute walk to the St Augustine lighthouse, about a five minute drive to downtown, and about a five minute drive to the beach. It is definitely the best location. The house is in a quaint little neighborhood surrounded by 1920s homes. We loved the neighborhood and our kids loved the playground nearby. The hosts were fabulous and responded right away with any questions we had. We were so sad to leave, but will definitely be back.

Convenient and Charming

We loved staying in this restored property with plenty of character. Check in and out were simple. The house was super clean, had a well appointed kitchen, comfy bed, and quiet neighborhood. It was very easy to get to St. Augustine's attractions and it was a nice walk to the Bridge of Lions to watch the sun set.

Best Bungalow

The house was immaculate, comfortable, and adorable in a quiet area. Working with Zander was seamless. We have been visiting St. Augustine for over 30 years, you can't find a better neighborhood around some of the best local spots. The location made it very easy to get around biking, walking, and close to SUP and kayak launches. The hosts provided many warm touches, and everything we needed to make our stay effortless as if we were in our own home.

Picture perfect!

This was the perfect little house for a weekend getaway with my husband and I plus one other couple! Everything was exactly as described and even better than the pictures. We visit St Augustine quite often and this is a keeper! Short distance to The Amp where we had a concert, walking distance to a couple other little bars and restaurants, easy short Uber to downtown. And the host was amazing proactively checking on us and answering any questions asap. Thank you for sharing your home with us and all the wonderful hospitality !
