  • Escape to your own private retreat on 1 acre of peaceful, gated land—just 20 minutes from the charm and history of downtown St. Augustine and 25 minutes to the beach. This fully fenced property offers the perfect blend of relaxation, fun, and comfort for families or groups.

    Cool off in your private pool, or let the kids enjoy their own space in the pool house, complete with TV, games, and a cozy hangout area.

    Whether you’re exploring the historic district, unwinding by the pool, or simply soaking up the quiet of your private getaway, this home is designed to make your stay unforgettable. The house sleeps 9 total. There are 3 bedrooms in the main house and a pull out couch in the pool house. We have a king bed in the master bedroom, twin beds in the twin room, a double bed in the front room, a king-size blow-up mattress, and a double size pull-out couch in the pool house.
    The air mattress, and sheets are located in the twin room closet. The pump is built into the mattress.
    In the pool house, there is a memory foam topper, to go on top of the mattress on the convertible couch. You’ll find sheets, pillows, and a blanket in zipper bags behind the pullout couch (under the air hockey table).

One of the nicest places we have stayed at with even nicer hosts. Excellent communication, fully furnished kitchen, and truly enjoyed the pool and our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back.

Absolutely wonderful!

This home and property is so beautiful and peaceful. There are so many fun things and options provided by these wonderful hosts at the property. We are already planning another stay here. The entire stay exceeded our expectations and we loved this home and the hosts were fabulous to work with. Definitely a must if you are visiting Saint Augustine!

Thanksgiving Vacation in St. Augustine

We had a wonderful stay here at this location. The home and property were absolutely beautiful. This home had plenty of amenities and everything you could imagine for all ages. It didn’t feel like a hotel or resort at all, because it is a home away from home. Very welcoming, warm, lived in, cared for, comfortable with pleasant characteristics. Thank you so much for a very nice holiday vacation away from our home!

Home away from Home

Our family had an amazing stay while vacationing in St Augustine. Anything and everything you could think of was available at this property. The hosts were excellent in communicating with us and ensuring we had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. The home was very clean and tastefully decorated. The outside was a private sanctuary with a pool and beautifully landscaped. Beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of clean linens, towels and pool towels for our use- we felt like we were home away from home. Thank you for again for a great stay!

We just returned from the most wonderful family vacation at the Private Oasis, and I can't say enough good things about our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the beautiful property and the warm welcome we received from the owners. It was such a pleasure getting to know them, and their hospitality made us feel right at home.Traveling with a group that included my husband, the kids, and our grandkids can be a challenge, but this property was perfect for every generation and our dogs loved it too. As a matter of fact, I think they are a little depressed now that we are back at home with the small yard and no chickens to watch. The spacious yard was a huge hit, providing plenty of room for the kids and grandkids to run around and play freely.The heated pool was a highlight for everyone, and we spent countless hours swimming,

Absolutely stunning home!

This property is absolutely beautiful! We were blown away by how clean and detailed the home and outside amenities were from the pool to the man cave and even a chicken coop with fresh eggs. We flew in from Ohio at night and was easily able to check in after midnight the property owner (terry)was wonderful And offered to pick us up a medical necessity so we didn’t have to after traveling all day. We will be returning and highly recommend this property! Thanks again

Beyond special… exceptional property!

Everything from booking to checkout was perfect!Terry, our host, was an excellent communicator who was super attentive to the details that made for a VERY memorable family experience. Terry’s home is very clean, beautifully furnished & decorated, and has all the comforts of home (with a whole lot of extras!)Our 6-year old granddaughter was delighted with the chickens, pool, expansive yard and family-fun activities. Wonderful home

The pictures did not do this home justice. The place is beautiful and the personal touches the owners left for us were above and beyond. They left treats for the pups and roses for us. The master bed was extremely comfortable. My dogs had full run of the yard with no leashes because it is completely fenced, which was wonderful. They had a blast too. This will be our go to place to stay whenever we are going to St Augustine. We absolutely loved it.

Amazingly Perfect!

I am not sure I can capture in words just how lovely everything is. From the house to the pool and pool house Terry has literally thought of everything. There was not one single thing that slipped his mind. My kids rated this a 1000/10!

Wonderful and very accommodating

We had a wonderful stay! Terry was so accommodating! Had the place decorated for Christmas which made it super homey for our vacation. Also had a bottle of wine from a local winery, cookies, and chocolates for us when we arrived. Super quick communication. We traveled with our three dogs and they did not charge us for them and they had food and water bowls for us to use. The outdoor area is an oasis and completely fenced which was great for our pups! They loved running around and exploring in the yard. I would highly recommend staying here!

Very well organized and amazing to work with

We were down in the area for my sons wedding. We wanted to be able to relax between events and also have a great place to watch the Superbowl with my family Sunday after the wedding events. The property was amazing and relaxing. Any instructions that were needed are clear. The attention to detail around the property was great. It was obvious that a Veteran owns the property. We took advantage of the fresh eggs as well. We have already talked about booking here again on our next visit to Florida. There are so many things close by to do as well.

Paradise in St. Augustine

Absolutely stunning property. The Carpenter’s have gone above and beyond any expectation of a rental property. Every space is lovely and so thought out. It truly is a paradise. The grounds are picture perfect and something out of a magazine. My dogs could run and run. There isn’t a space that isn’t just absolutely gorgeous from the pool, the game area in the man cave, the rooms, the gorgeous landscaping. The meticulous detail in every area. Just stunning!!!

Great place to stay

This was such a great place to stay! The hosts were very nice and communication was great. We arrived a little late (in the dark) and the house was very welcoming for us when we arrived. They had lights on and music playing. They literally thought of everything as far as what a guest might need. They had dog treats ready for our dogs when we arrived. The place was totally fenced in and private. The pictures do not to the place justice, it was much bigger than we anticipated, and it was a lovely open space floor plan. It was too cold to use the pool, but they had a nice firepit we were able to enjoy. The fresh eggs were a fun additive, and we just felt very at home in the space. Would definitely recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely perfect

We thought we had died and went to heaven. The home and property were absolutely immaculate. When we first entered from the front door, there was soft music playing and the rooms smelled like fresh air. I would be writing a short story to tell all the wonders of this amazing home and property. Gathering fresh eggs everyday was a real treat. All amenities, and more, were included. The comfortable outdoor area's were very relaxing and beautifully landscaped. It looked like an oasis. The game room was filled with fun games to play both inside and outside. We used the grill everyday for dinner and ate in the enclosed lanai. The bedrooms were very spacious complete with very comfortable beds. They even had food bowls with water dispenser for the dogs. Again, it would take a short story to explain our absolutely amazing experience. Love, love, love this place.
