Walk across the street to the Lightner Museum to discover Victorian-era artifacts or Flagler College to admire Spanish Renaissance architecture. Stroll 15 minutes along the Matanzas River to Castillo de San Marcos, a historic fortress dating back to the 17th century.
When you’re ready for some time by the surf, travel 2 miles to Anastasia State Park or 5 miles to Vilano Beach.

Stairs
Very quaint and clean place. Great for couple with kids that are older.
Only concern was the amount of stairs to go up to the apartment, not handicap accessibility or elevator so when it rains can be a bit challenging to park then go up the stairs.
Other than that great for a weekend getaway.

Hosts were excellent. We had one issue with the shower not draining quickly. Sent a message to host, and it was fixed before we returned from lunch. Quick walk to dining/shopping, and the staff downstairs at Lobstah on a roll was the friendliest!

Good location. But noisy between walls and construction.
I think as much as I would love to give it a great review because I live in this city. The location is very good but my daughter said that it was extremely noisy with the renters below and the construction next door. She seemed pretty disappointed about that. There were some bugs in the kitchen but that could have just been a one time incident.
We were thankful to get this rental at the holidays for her and her boyfriend. So overall I'm sure it was fine but just not great.

Perfect Location
This place is the PERFECT location in St. Augustine, right in the heart of the historic district. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do, or at least get to the trolley stop which would take us to the north end of town.
WHAT WE LOVED:
1. Location!!
2. Perfect size for our family of four (two daughters 10 and 13).
3. Beds were comfy.
4. Room was clean and well stocked with everything we needed (coffee, utensils, fridge, microwave, etc.)
NEEDS IMPROVEMENT:
1. There's no seating in the unit - just a small table in the kitchen with two metal seats that aren't comfortable for adults. I didn't notice this when booking.... So if you're watching TV or just want to take a break from walking downtown you have to sit on the bed. Not the end of the world, but a couple of comfy upholstered chairs would go a long way.
2. Towels. They're provided towels, but they were basically hand towels. We went to Target (5 minutes away) and bought four regular bath towels since we were staying a week. Bring your own.
The only other thing (not a deal-breaker!) was noise. You'll notice the trash truck comes in (early!) every morning right outside (theres a restaurant on the first floor). You'll also hear vehicles/people outside at night and the guests in the room below made quite a bit of noise. Most of this you should expect when staying downtown like this, though, and didn't impact our stay that much.
Bottom line - this place was a great spot that worked well for our family!
