CRC 2107 - Ground Floor Pool View Condo

  • This ground floor condo has a spacious living room has plenty of seating for the family to gather around the new Smart TVs and new flooring. The whimsical beach paintings throughout are originals painted by the owner of the condo themselves! The beautiful kitchen is fully equipped for a stay of any length and comes with a drip coffee pot and stackable washer and dryer. There is a king size bed in the primary bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with a new walk in shower. There is a queen in the second bedroom, and two twins in the smaller bedroom known as the “Crow’s Nest.”

    All of the condos are equipped with private Wi-Fi and have TVs in the living room, master bedroom, and second bedroom. We provide initial toilet paper, trash bags, bath soap, and dishwasher pods. Guests are advised to bring supplementary items if needed.

    Take advantage of the recreational opportunities of this private gated community, including a large oceanfront pool, children's playground, two tennis courts with pickleball court lines, and a basketball hoop. Our indoor amenities include a heated pool, sauna, racquetball court, and fitness center.

    The beautiful, white, sandy beaches are just a two-minute walk from buildings 1 and 2 and a three-minute walk from building 3. The beaches are accessible by car with just a short drive north to the Dondanville Road Access.

    Only a 15-minute drive away is historic downtown Saint Augustine, where there is no shortage of shopping, dining, or fun activities for people of all ages. Check out the town's many historic attractions or hop on the Trolley to see it all on the go! You can purchase DISCOUNTED tickets to the Old Town Trolley and many of Saint Augustine’s attractions right in the main office at the property!

    Saint Augustine has no shortage of kid friendly entertainment! Check out the Alligator Farm or the Lighthouse and Maritime Museum here on the island or head downtown for the Pirate and Treasure Museum or Potter’s Wax Museum for some good old fashion family fun!

Just as beautiful as the ad

Our week at Colony Reef Club in St. Augustine, FL was absolutely amazing!!! The condo was everything we hoped it would be. Short walk to the ocean, ground floor condo, all the amenities one would ever wish for including pool, hot tub, kids pool, exercise room, game room with card and bingo times, playground area. Our condo had all of the kitchen appliances, large and small, washer, dryer, sweeper, blenders, dishes, everything we needed and then some. The condo was very clean and had extra blankets and pillows. After stopping at the nearby WinDixie for some groceries and snacks, it was just like home except better with the gorgeous beach, bright Florida sun and sunsets that lit up the most picturesque sky. Thank you so much Colony Reef for an amazing get away! We will be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second year going to Colony reef. The property is very nice and well kept. The middle yard is very good for kids to play. The playground is in great shape. Pool and hot tub very clean. Pool isn’t heated but pairs well with the hot tub. Unfortunately the AC in our condo was broken most of the week but the maintenance staff did everything they could to keep us comfortable and accommodate us.Our unit itself was a little outdated but was clean and served its purpose. I liked the ground floor and location to pool and playground were great.

First time to Colony Reef, but not the last

Condo was as advertised. Very comfortable and well furnished for our month long stay. Even though weather was not great some days during our stay, we were able to enjoy the covered patio many days. The horseshoe configuration of the buildings provided a wind break most days.The unit was beautiful with clear recent updates. Kitchen was small, but more than adequate. We had everything we needed to cook meals- though so many great restaurant choices in St Augustine area, we cooked less than we usually do. Master bed was comfortable and attached shower had great water pressure. Note: while this is a 3 bedroom unit, the 3rd bedroom is very small and realistically only suitable for kids. Worked great for us as our overflow storage area.The Colony Reef property is very well maintained. Staff is friendly and was very helpful with a last minute request. We took full advantage of the workout room. We loved the direct access to the beach. Highly recommend this unit and property!

Had I not been aware of Ian, I’d never have guessed they had been through a Hurricane. Kudos to groundskeepers and all! Well done! The unit we stayed in was roomy and first floor, which was perfect. The large open grassy area in center was perfect. Such a nice place to play for the kids and adults. Pool area is stunning and the walkway to beach is very well maintained. We had 4 adults and a 17 month old. It was perfect for us and plenty of room. I would definitely stay at Colony Reef again. Perfect location for a nice family vacation! Also, the front desk people are so kind. Shout out to George who patiently responded to all of my questions and even allowed an early check in, which helped with a 17 month old! Thank you!! Will plan another trip and Colony Reef will be at top of my list!

Lots of fixing, no relaxing!!

We are very disappointed because the location was incredible. Good pools, steps away from the beach, very easy to get to and very close to the historic district. The minute we got to the apartment, we noticed it was very superficially cleaned. Mugs still had dry coffee, pans with eggs and forks with avocado on them. When we went to use the towels, we found a living bug on it. So we had to pack up all our clothes to make sure we wouldn't carry the bug with us back home (we left one of the bugs in a bag for the property manager to see). The lights in the second bedroom did not work and sparked when we tried to turn them on. The master bedroom had a leak from the upstairs toilet into our shower and floor. We spent new years eve cleaning the leak and scrubbing the shower, while being worried that the water was from a dirty toilet. The good thing was that an older gentleman from the property had come the next day to hear our issues. We hadn't been able to use the shower until the following day when he could disinfect and clean it. We are very upset about not being able to spend a relaxing time due to constantly having to fix issues within the apartment. It completely ruined our vacation. We spent more time fixing things that should've been fixed before our arrival than enjoying the beach. Then we left feeling rushed out due to the fact that we would be CHARGED a fee for staying after 10 am. This apartment was cleaned haphazardly, and not very hospitable.

Very clean, updated and a great location on the 1st floor which made it so easy with the kids. While we were there, The property management had food trucks that included snow cones and night time screening of finding Nemo on the lawn area. That was really fun for the kids. It is so conveniently located to the beach as well as other activities within St. Augustine - Marineland and Downtown St. Augustine. Great place. We will be back!

For what it cost for the cleaning we did not feel 2107 was totally cleaned, grill was not clean, had to clean it before use and only used it once! The fridge wall beside garbage can was not cleaned, did not feel the patio was clean was swept but not clean! We have stayed in this condo several times and love where it is located as to beach and pool!

We love Colony Reef!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed another year staying at Colony Reef, however all things the same, we would choose another unit in the future. We thought the bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and updated, but wish they would have carried that through to the rest of the unit. In my opinion, the furniture was outdated and the tv was on the smaller side with not the best picture. The kitchen cabinets were over filled with a ton of dishes and items mostly which were dusty and looked like they had not been used in a very long time. The unit had a distinct smell to it, not bad, just smelled dated. Even our friends visiting noticed it. The flooring was nicely updated and the paintings throughout were beautiful. The location was perfect and we spent most of the time on the patio. I think I’m just particular because we have stayed in much nicer condos at Colony Reef. The grounds and staff were amazing and we tried the cabana rentals this time and loved it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay! We really liked the room because of the location on ground level andyo the pool. The master bed was really hard and the patio furniture very old but overall it was a great stay. The cleaning staff had turned the refrigerator up and it took 48 hours for it to cool back down, that was the worst part but not the owner of the rooms fault. We would stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Basic updates should be mandatory such as new better bed in guest bedroom. Shower head in guest bathroom is a disgrace, dryer vent desperately needs cleaning and everything needs a deep cleaning at least once a year including master bedroom valence. It would be nice to upgrade bedrooms furniture as well. It is the original . Also replace carpet with wood grain tile at least in main area.

Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great as always. We love the new wifi and of course the electric barbecue. However the carpet is disgusting and should be replaced with either a tile floor or new carpet and cleaned regularly. The queen be in the guest room needs a topper. It is as hard as a board. There should be more large plates as well. We use the dishwasher constantly especially if friends and family drop in. The TV in the living room is way too small with few channels as well.

Lovely stay but the condo could have been cleaner

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had such a nice stay! We loved that the condo was ground level right next to the pool and just steps to the ocean. We loved the paintings and art decorated in the condo also. This condo was less expensive than others because it has not been updated which is fine. However for such a large sum spent to stay at the condo it should have been cleaner. There was dirt dust along floors and baseboards. The carpets and linens need a deep cleaning or be replaced. The kitchen and showers should have been more clean. But overall we enjoyed the stay because we love colony reef.
