Cozy, quiet retreat on Saint Augustine's Anastasia Island! Come enjoy your stay at this totally updated, modern, mid century bungalow. Walk across the scenic Bridge of Lions to historic downtown Saint Augustine with its many great restaurants, museums, art galleries and shops. Only a mile from the beach at Anastasia State Park and a short drive to the beautiful, white sand beaches on Anastasia Island. Bicycles available for guest use upon request.

The space
Updated, three bedroom home in an historic, quiet, charming neighborhood. Master bedroom has a king bed, second bedroom is a queen (both have Tuft and Needle mattresses). Third bedroom has a full size bed. Recently updated kitchen with all new appliances. Large, private yard with a screened lanai and patio with firepit.

Additional area attractions: Saint Augustine Amphitheatre, Saint Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum, Alligator Farm and Zoological Park

We had a wonderful stay at the Boomerang Bungalow! The house was such a cozy retreat with luxurious bedding and comfy seating. The owners thought of everything down to the detail. The house was convenient to any place you want to go, downtown or the beach. The neighborhood was very safe. We’d definitely stay again! George and Ursula are fabulous hosts!

Boomerang Bungalow was a perfect stay for us this weekend. We loved the decor, the rooms were great sizes. A lovely backyard and great place close to many dining options and bars. We will definitely be back.

The house was so cute. The neighborhood was cozy and quiet, and nothing is far on the island. Everything in the house was well prepared and clean and tidy. Comfortable beds. The lanai was lovely. We will stay again when we're back in the area!

Great getaway for my best friends bachelor party. We rented a golf cart and checked out all the nearby amenities. George and Ursula communicated well before our stay and were great hosts.

Spectacular Location

We were able to walk across the bridge of lions into the Old City for our Pirate sunset cruise or across the street to the Mellow Mushroom. We probably could have gotten anywhere here by bike but did jump in our cars for a quick 10 minute drive to most places around including St. Augustine Beach, Alligator Farm, and the Lighthouse. I just want to say that everything was perfect except some of the doors need locks. Other than that, the communication was great and appreciate all of your tips! If staying in St. Augustine again, would consider this listing once more!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place! The house is so clean and more spacious than it appears online. Comfortable beds, nice fluffy towels and beautiful kitchen…. The location is PERFECT. We walked into town and rode the bikes provided to the beach. Quiet neighborhood…. The hosts were quick to respond to questions. One of the better places I have rented.

Perfect location for quiet getaway

George and Ursula were great hosts and communicated very well before our stay. This nicely updated house is in a nice quiet neighborhood and is within walking or biking distance of great restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. We biked the short distance to the lighthouse and then across the bridge of lions into downtown and had a great Fourth of July!

Family Getaway

This space was perfect for a family getaway. The beds were comfortable, there were family games to play, and the living room was perfect for a movie night. We also loved the screened in porch for morning coffee. We would definitely stay again!

Boomerang Bungalow

My husband and I stayed a little over 3 weeks at this charming bungalow! It was wonderful! Very clean and beds with comfy mattresses. The restaurant recommendations were spot on and we had the opportunity to try out many of them.Our hosts always responded immediately if we had any questions. They left chocolates and lemon soap for a pleasant surprise.We loved playing with the jumbo cards and made some wonderful memories while staying there!Definitely recommend staying at “Boomerang Bungalow.”

Wonderful little property in a great spot

We could not have asked for a better stay. They really communicated well and the property was immaculate. So many options nearby within walking distance, you don’t really even need a car once there. The yard is well kept and the house is stocked, even had nice soaps and shampoos in the shower for us. You won’t regret staying in this cute little property any time of year.

Great Spot for a Girls Weekend!

The 5 of us enjoyed this spot for a long weekend. We went to a show at the amphitheater and spent time downtown exploring. It was a perfect location and the house was a great size for the group. The back porch was awesome and the backyard is private.

Saint Augustine bungalow

Very cute home, exactly the way it was described. Semi short walk to downtown Saint Augustine and St.George street, also a short drive to the lighthouse and state park. Nice and roomy, fully equipped with all the necessary tools in the full kitchen. Seeing as how we stayed at Christmas, it was a nice surprise that there were already trees set up!!
