Wedding and Family Vacation
Overall, our stay was wonderful! We started off with a few bumps but the property owners swiftly and kindly addressed. Communication with the property owners was very easy and we always got quick replies. We had family fly in from across the country to celebrate our beach wedding. We got to enjoy sharing the lakehouse together for a long weekend of celebration. The lakehouse was overall beautiful; plenty of room for our family to stay and have a few friends visit. Quite mornings, beautiful weather, and a very serene setting. Parking was fine, the roadway is tight. Neighbors next door were very kind.

Family Weekend
We were a group of 9 women, all family and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. It was a beautiful location and we had a beautiful view. The only downside, was upon arrival there was a notice from the gas company that services were shut off. We did not have gas to cook or for heat from check-in until 10am the next morning. We did receive a small $100 refund for that issue. We utilized the fun garage space to stay warm and to have fun! The pool table and spacious sitting area was a great gathering space. The house itself was perfect for our group, many of the women were able to have their own room or bed which was great! The neighbors were so nice and their dog was friendly and would pop over to visit and was so cute! We enjoyed ourselves and have lasting memories!

Great Golfing Group Location
Place had 9 useable beds for 1 adult each. More sleeping available if you share beds. My group had 8 older males so place was perfect for our golf adventure. Played 3 local courses including twice at American Dunes. What a great course on its own but I don't believe you'll find a more patriotic course in all of golf. House had all the amenities that a group of 8 would want. Also, some of my group even fished off the private dock. Kayaks weren't used but recommended for the more serious fishermen. No issues which is always great when using a rental. Host is great and available promptly when needed before and during our stay. If we're in the Grand Haven area again, we'll definitely book this place.

Beautiful home, but waterfront needs work
Home is accurately pictured and described. New game garage is beautiful but lacking bicycles, games for little kids such as sand toys, or even a ball for the basketball net. I went out and purchased these things as we had children ranging in ages from two to 17. Also the waterfront has not been kept up and is overgrown with seaweed and weeds and grass. None of the children wanted to swim and didn't even feel comfortable jumping off the end of the brand new dock as there was a pole from the old dock they could have been injured on. I had to ask the owners to deliver a lake rake so I could work on the lakefront to try and get it so the littles could swim. The lake rake arrived halfway through our vacation, so we paid top dollar to get waterfront with a beach and couldn't use it until the last 2 days. They installed an aerator to try and help but it wasn't working either. The new dock is beautiful which we tied up a couple of jet skis to. Backing boat trailer down into this property is nearly impossible with the one lane road, it can be done but a caution to all boat owners. House on channel in no wake area and you don't have to worry about boat once it's tied up which is also very nice. The kitchen lacked amenities to host 14 people in the home for meals. No working can opener, no serving trays or bowls to serve large meals. Tons of fire wood large logs provided, but no axe to make starter pieces and large logs wouldn't burn. Had to borrow ax. Owner is responsive

Great visit to Spring Lake...again
We've stayed at this property 3 times and have a blast each time. The property is amazing. The swimming just off their beach isn't the best due to seaweed, but a quick 50' swim/kayak off the end of the dock is perfect for swimming and floating in the bayou. We will be back again for sure! The area is awesome with Grand Haven nearby as well several beaches within a 10 min drive. The renovated garage area is beautiful and we spent probably as much time there as we did inside the house!!

Memorial day weekend
Our group of friends had a great time at this property. The kitchen is well supplied with nice appliances, knife set and pots. The patio chairs and fire pit are amazing with well stocked wood. The game room/garage was not complete during our stay, although missed there was still so much to do without it. The host always was willing to help out with anything we might needed. Overall great stay and already talked about doing it again!

Amazing property!
The owners of this property have gone the extra mile to anticipate the needs of their guests. Beautiful and comfortable, including the beds, fluffy towels, first class appliances, plenty of hot water, toys and puzzles, outdoor seating, etc. Just about any need you might discover you’ll find it’s already been anticipated! We didn’t want to leave! We were extended family in town for a memorial service for a brother-in-law. Anna was so thoughtful that she even sent a sympathy floral bouquet to the house. It brought my sister to tears! We deeply appreciated the kindness.

Excellent Choice
This property was an excellent choice for our family! Our son is stationed in Grand Haven, MI. So we wanted something conveniently located close to Grand Haven in case he had to go back to the station for duty. This house is a short drive to multiple towns! It is located in a nice neighborhood. It was nice and peaceful! We felt very safe there! The house is well kept! Every room was clean and organized! It has the perfect entryway with cubbies for your coats and snow boots! We loved the open floor plan with large windows for views of the lake from every angle. There was plenty of bedrooms, and tvs for my family. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans. All cooking utensils were available for our use. The hostess was awesome too! She did a great job of providing information about the house, trash pick ups and information on the area. She was so helpful to me! If you looking for a peaceful getaway with your family, this house is an excellent choice!

Great Place on Spring Lake
Our family was visiting the Grand Haven area for a family celebration, and with limited hotel options, found this great vacation rental. It manages to be spacious and cozy at the same time. Has an old school lakehouse feel to it, but nicely appointed and maintained. Great location directly on the Lake, with a huge lawn between the house and the lake and a wonderfully stocked games room. Great bedroom options, especially for kids, with 4 singles in the basement walk out. Only issue we had was one of the bathroom showers only would get lukewarm at best. Hopefully it gets fixed.
