"The host was exceptional and so kind. The location was in close proximity to 3 quaint New England small towns whose downtowns had many restaurants and local shops to enjoy-Great Barrington (GB Eats for breakfast), Stockbridge (best shopping) and Lenox (exceptional dinner at Frankie’s Italian). The house looked updated on the outside but inside looked like early 1900s with a hint of Victorian influence. My only caution is for anyone with mobility issues as all 3 bedrooms and the only (very small)...

"House was the central place for our daughter’s wedding. The Great room was perfect for her and her maid of honor to get ready as well as enough bedrooms for everyone to sleep. House could have been cleaner outside and yard better kept. Also would have loved lights outback so we could have hung out there or at the fire pit. Master bathroom shower had a leak, water running down to the entrance way by the stairs."

The view from the deck is amazing and the living room is huge with an old stone fireplace which we didn’t use because it was 90 degrees each day. The Mexican restaurant in town (Norte Azul) has an extensive menu and a good variety of beer on tap. Highly recommend visiting Mt Greylock in MA, about 30 mins away. "Fantastic cottage! Neighbors hardly around and deck large and comfy. The enclosed porch was huge and allowed card game fun! My 92 year old Mom was craving quiet and peaceful lake vibes and this cottage was perfect. New large Roku tv was great! Comfy couches and well equipped kitchen!
