"Beautiful small hotel. We received a nice upgrade without asking for it. The apartments are very comfortable and has complete kitchens. They received us with a bottle of wine and some groceries. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but there are some options nearby. I would only recommend staying here if you have a car. Good option to stay here and make day trips to different Tuscan towns."

"The house is a beautiful old Italian house with high ceilings with wooden beams and tiled floors. Everything in the house worked pedfectly- wifi, hot water, screens on the windows, kitchen and bath. "The accomodation at Montegabbro allowed us a vacancy both within a calm, natural environment at the end of a small road and nearness to major sights in Tuscanny, such as San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Firenze etc.. The perfectly equipped house features everything we needed, from airconditioned (cooling/warming) living- & bedrooms unto WiFi, Flat-TV (italian progs) etc.etc.. "It is in beautiful location where you can recieve the healing energy of the Toscana countryside. However it's far from Florence, 45 minutes through a long and widing road. Internet and telephone signal is bad and we did't get the code to open the box with the keys on time, we strugeled to find a way to communicate with the staff. Should we have received the code in time everything would have been perfect. It would be a good idea to place the name of the house "Elena" somewhere visible for people...

"I rarely give a 5 star rating but this property is incredible. When it comes right down to it, people make all the difference. Emanuela was so friendly and accommodating. She was just so happy. She checked on us and helped us with our questions. Beyond that, the apartment is perfect. We so enjoyed our time on the terrace. The building is relatively quiet and we enjoyed watching all the animals living in the apt below us, especially Theo and all the turtles! Highly recommend and we will return....
