"Lovely hotel in a great location. Very friendly and welcoming, lovely and clean.so nice to have a hotel that provides conditioner as well as shampoo! Also tea and hot chocolate with biscuits.

"Great location for harbour, beach, shopping, buses etc. Free off street parking. Clean room and bathroom. Room with fridge, tea and coffe and tv, comfortable bed with sheet as well as duvet which was welcomed, and had fan in room. Breakfast was really excellent, lots of choice cereal fresh fruit yogurt breads plus cooked or continental. Chris and Jackie very welcoming and went out of their way to help us. Would recommend."

"I had a lovely stay. The owners/staff were really friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Even though it’s connected to a pub you couldn’t hear a thing. The bed was comfy and the ensuite bathroom was gorgeous The only negatives are, I couldn’t leave my window open as there was an easily accessible large ledge right outside and the window could be opened fully from the outside if left open so I didn’t feel safe to leave open. "Grear staff, clean and modern room. Sure the window was a bit noisy but nothing too worriesome. It was ok for me. I highly recommend this stay - excellent value, does exactly what it needs to and more."
"Warm welcome by the host, explained everything you need to know. The bed was really comfortable, room was spacious and tidy, even had a fan which was welcome as the nights where in the 20s. Breakfast was gorgeous, cereals,full english or if you asked for anything similar they'd do it, the coffee was lovely, they also catered for the continental visitors. Spacious car park and a nice ten minute walk to the seaside. Overall i would recommend The George and would certainly visit again.
