"The room was huge with more than enough space for a seating area as well as a dressing table/coffee station. Tea/coffee provided and hairdryer in room. Bathroom was adequate but dated and some of the seating in the bedroom area was ripped and one of the bedside lights didn’t work. Staff were helpful although it took some time to knowledge us on arrival. They were really helpful when I phoned to make an enquiry prior to arrival. "I stayed there because I had to visit some customers really close. It seems like this place it's more for weddinds or other celebrations than for staying in. The service was not helpful at all. Breakfast it's included but there was a team of people just chatting and nobody came to explain what could I order. I had to go and ask and they were not kind at all. I won't definitely come back."

"Desperately needed air con"

"Staff helpful, evening meal very nice. Although oldish building clean. Easy drive into Chesterfield or Matlock."

"Very clean room and all of the staff were helpful and friendly. Shower is a bit of a dribble and you need to bring your own soap or shower gel. No breakfast but there's options just around the corner. A great pub with lots of beers on offer from their own brewery. I'd happily go back."

"Todo perfecto, habitación moderna con cama grande y cómoda. El personal muy agradable y eficiente. "

"Friendly staff, good pub attached with good food. Breakfast was tasty but did take a while to arrive (30mins). Room was clean, but tired and in need of some repairs (bathroom doorframe and main light fittings). Good place for an overnight stop."

"The Pilsley Inn is the quintessential English country side experience. The room was thoughtfully appointed and way bigger than expected. Cozy bed, nice linens and thoughtful touches everywhere. The staff were delightful, each and every one of them. And the food…omg, the food! So good! We wish we booked more than one night!"
