"This is my new go to vacation spot! This hidden gem was gorgeous, clean, tucked away for quiet and privacy but still able to drive within minutes to the village. I absolutely loved my stay here and plan to go back. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms have a jacuzzi tub and fireplace along with a personal balcony take in the night air. "I hate to give such a bad review. My family began staying at the Goldmine Lodge in the early 1990s, so it had some nostalgic value. This weekend was the first time since 2007, and the property is really run-down. The wall heater didn't work, and the BBQs were rusted out and unusable. Most of the switches didn't work, and the kitchen window was broken."
