Very friendly owner and great place to stay. Feels tucked away, but still very close to lots of restaurants and shops. We will be back for a longer stay!

Small but clean, comfortable room. Property was very quiet & peaceful during our weekday, overnight stay (only a couple cars in the lot apart from ours). Beautiful and surrounded by trees. The guy who checked us in was very friendly & helpful. Location is ideal - a very short walk to the village, but feels far enough from crowds that it’s a true get away. I would be happy to stay again.

I like that it feels intimate and at the same time its walking distance from the village. The rooms are tastefully decorated modern spacious and clean, and are equipped with everything you need to feel home away from home. My husband and I have stayed twice our experience has been Above and Beyond. We can't wait to go back!!

My daughter and I went for a little weekend getaway. The staff was great and super friendly. Walking distance to downtown Big Bear. Located in the heart of Big Bear which makes it very convenient. Rooms were very clean. Grounds were very clean. There is a refrigerator located in your room, coffee maker, blow dryer as well as shampoo, conditioner and body wash which provided in the shower if needed, I will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

The property was great and very nicely done. Beautiful compound-like setting and Patrick, the property host, was friendly and very accommodating. Would be a great venue for a family reunion or rustic wedding.

Really enjoyed our stay here. So beautiful serene and secluded. Everything is clean and well maintained. Newly renovated and just perfect for a quick getaway from the city. Very nice and friendly owner. Really hoping to come back.

Our stay was amazing that we didn’t want to leave. Harlow and Fredelicious were so welcoming and warm along with the rest of the staff. The rooms were spacious and clean. The deck was full of great amenities and the ambiance was to die for. We will definitely be coming back and have officially dubbed this property as our go to stay in Big Bear. This was a dream getaway.

Absolutely beautiful property. Friendly and welcoming staff. The owner, Patrick, met us on our arrival and escorted us to our room. He asked multiple times if we needed anything, recommended a great restaurant and a fun drive/ hike for us in our Jeep. We will be back. Highly recommend!

Our experience at the Estate house property was exceptional. Not only was the location perfect, but the customer service by Patrick was superb. Patrick was very prompt with his responses whenever I had any questions or concerns. He met with us when we arrived at the property on the first day to give us a brief tour of the house and was very cordial. I have stayed at other properties in Big Bear but nothing beats the experience I had on our stay at the Knickerbocker Mansion and Estate. Patrick definitely made the experience much more pleasant with his quintessential customer service he provides to his clients. He seems very genuine in wanting to help. I will definitely recommend it and I’ll definitely stay here again for our next visit at Big Bear.

Overall, the experience was great, and the hospitality of the owner was amazing. We can’t wait to go back. The Property has a lot of amenities, which was really fun. The only better experience that we had at our stay was accidentally, the toilet was not clean but apart from that was a terrific experience.

Property was amazing. Fully stocked. Kitchen had everything you could need and more, and with good quality pots, pans, utensils, — quality like I’d use at home. Everything was super clean and set up for convenience. Owner met us upon arrival and was extremely helpful with any question or needs, though we didn’t really need anything. Beautiful fixtures and decorations. The entire family can’t wait to return. Walking distance to everything. Highly recommend!

Such a great stay. The owners were super available and there for any needs. Great location for adventures if you want to hike or walk in to town. Self sufficient on property as well if you have all your goods you don't need to leave.

The property is warm and welcoming and very pet friendly. The owner has done a nice job of updating the mansion and its carriage houses. It’s our new favorite find in Big Bear and we will definitely return and refer friends.

Online check-in, pet friendly, newly renovated, walk to the Village. We stayed in a very nice one bedroon cabin with equipped kitchen, a/c, private deck, jetted tub, king bed, and plenty of space to safely walk our dogs on the property. Everything was lovely. Spacious, clean, modern-rustic. The owner greeted us personally and took care of everything. By far th best accomodations for the price in Big Bear, will definitely return.

AMAZING!!! From start to finish this trip was amazing! This house has everything you need! The beds are wonderful including the sheets and comforters. Anything we needed to cook was there and also had firewood. There were 5 bedrooms and each room has its own bathroom. Our family really enjoyed the fire pit. There’s a game lodge that you share with the other houses but it was always available and has last of games. Questions are answered immediately! Staff was wonderful at check in. We will be back soon! Best place to stay in big bear!!!!

Wonderful and picturesque cabins. Patrick was incredibly gracious and personally greeted us at arrival. Great location, surrounded by pine trees. Loved the game room and the suite which had a great kitchen. All newly remodeled and well cared for. Very dog friendly too. Will be returning.
