THE SPACE
Beachwood House, is designed for entertaining and the beach life!
Soaring ceilings in the main living area infuse the space with an airy lightness while large sliding doors afford an excellent vantage point for watching the ever-changing sunset .Your beach house boasts a well equipped kitchen with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the ample outdoor entertaining area and BBQ facilities.
With a separate outdoor shower area this 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom split level home is perfect for beach living!
Settle in and enjoy the Grand Prix and all Phillip Island has to offer in style -- all beds have pillows and donnas so you can bring your own linen or Bed linens (with towels ) are available at $25.00 per person as part of your stay, so all you need to do is pack the fun stuff.
Within walking distance to Grand Prix Circuit, Smiths & YCW beaches; close to restaurants, nature reserves, wineries,parks & shopping.
Enjoy the indoor outdoor living experience your wrap around balcony has to offer- sunsets, surf, and sea breezes.

To ensure your pet feels safe and secure whilst on holiday there is a purpose built, undercover and garden area for them to enjoy, especially while you are out and about during the day. A kennel is provided but you will need to bring you own dog bed. So that everyone can enjoy the beach holiday, you know the drill, leave property in a super clean state, pick up all droppings from surrounds

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Smiths Beach, Phillip Island offers visitors a beautiful golden sandy beach cove ideal for beach games, fishing and walks. Smiths Beach is part of the Phillip Island National Surfing Reserve. Good consistent waves are ideal for beginner to advanced surfers, body boarders, stand up paddle boarders and swimmers. During low tide you can explore the rock pools at both ends of the beach, the larger pools are also ideal for snorkelling. Smiths Beach General Store offers a delectable array of food supplies and is a licensed premise. Smiths Beach is home to the short tailed shearwater (mutton bird) and the Carpark at Smiths is fronted by the mutton bird rookery. The Koala Reserve and local attractions such as Oswin Roberts Nature reserve and Amaze n things are within walking distance from your location.

GETTING AROUND
The bus stop for Smiths Beach is on Back Beach Road and services run daily with special services offered for select events.

The property was beautiful, it exceeded my expectations, the house is amazing, the facilities were excellent and there was a welcoming bowl of treats for us to enjoy which was lovely. The only down fall was that there wasn't a bath to bathe the babies, otherwise a very enjoyable time had by all. Thank you Linda.

Beautiful beachside stay

This house is perfectly located between Smiths and YCW beaches with lovely views to the west for sunset viewing. The house is presented really well and we had all we needed and more - from a coffee machine to start the day in the well stocked kitchen to a washing machine whenever needed, and all rooms already set up with soaps and linen when we arrived. It was really lovely to walk in our the first day and feel at home straightaway. The outdoor shower, undercover area with table tennis and the bunk room downstairs with a separate tv was brilliant for my teenagers coming home from surfing and needing their own space to relax. The upstairs living space, and the couches and dining table, are generous for when we all came together. Linda was an absolute pleasure to book the house through - clear info, friendly messages and quick replies. Highly recommend!

Great house close to beach

With 10 staying in house was a great set out. 3 toilets helped! Bigger bbq for large groups would be useful but we bought an extra so was covered. And perhaps pack an esky on deck for larger groups to keep drinks cold as fridge filled quick with necessities. Walk to beach. Local cabs were quick to town.

Wonderful break after lockdown

Great location very near the beach and a very flexible property. We took our 2 dogs and it was easy with a good fenced yard. Communications with the host were timely and straight forward - again making it easy to relax and have a good time. Very well supplied property, would thoroughly recommend!

Warm and welcoming beach get away

The house was very clean and well catered for with even a welcome pack. The best property we have rented that made pets welcomed. So close to a great beach and is in a good central location on Phillip Island.

Not long enough!

What a great getaway for our family.The property was beautifully presented. Kids loved the downstairs “kids room” and the outdoor shower. No one wanted to go home! Linda was so friendly and kind enough to suggest lots of island activities. We’ll be back!!😀

family getaway

This is the second year in a row we've stayed at this property. It's clean, spacious and very comfortable. It's great having the second small living area for the kids. The proximity to two beaches at Smiths Beach is also a drawcard.

Beautiful Beachwood house

So pleased we were able to get away for a few days to Beachwood house. The home was very clean, spacious and well appointed. Linda was great at answering any questions we had. The property is a short walk away to both Smiths beach and YCA beach. The house has plenty of natural light and a great deck for relaxing and entertaining.

Beachwood House Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beachwood House. The home is lovely, and truly feels like a beach house. It is just a short walk to the beach where our grandchildren surfed, swam, explored rock pools and generally had a wonderful time.

The break we needed!

Everything about this stay was great. The location is literally 300metres from a great surf beach, very close to the general store, far enough and close enough to all main attractions and Cowes. The accommodation for our large dogs was excellent, the children’s area was perfect and away from the main living and adult bedrooms. The linens and beds all good quality and comfortable. Thoughtfully appointed, you don’t need to bring anything! Great outdoor entertainment areas as well. There was even a small Christmas tree, chocolates left for the kids and adults and even dog treats! Highly recommended. We will be back. Thank you to Linda, thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Great stay and top location

Linda was great to deal with and the property is beautifully located within a short walk of the General Store and beach. The property itself was lovely for our family to stay in and we would thoroughly recommend this property as a top place to stay at a quieter part of Phillip Island.

Fantastic holiday house

We’ve stayed in different accomodation at smiths beach over the past three years but Beachwood house is exceptional. The house has everything you need. Really comfortable beds and great facilities. It’s very close to both beaches so no need to worry about driving and trying to find A park. We all loved staying here and will return.
