It is an easy short car ride from Reykjavik, and we also did a daytrip through the golden circle from here. The campsite has cats and chicken, and we enjoyed their “visits”. "Wir waren in einer der neueren Cabins und die war richtig neu und sauber. Tolle Aussicht aufs Wasser und die Stadt Borgarnes. Das Wetter war ziemlich windig und nass aber wir haben gemütlich im Hot Pot gesessen. Die Anlage liegt Nahe zur Ringstraße, was natürlich sehr verkehrsgünstig ist, dadurch hört man aber auch bei offenem Fenster ab morgens den Verkehr, was uns jetzt allerdings nicht sonderlich gestört hat. Mal gucken, ob die Cabins die nächsten Jahre so ordentlich und gepflegt bleiben. Es...

"Good and quiet. Room is not quite ready as the shampoo & shower gel had ran out and was not replaced. Otherwise, good Fosshotel level of service and rooms. Happy hour from 4-6pm, 900ISK for Gull draft beers. Wine pairing- mega pint of wine served. Haha"
