Had such a wonderful stay at this house! The house was absolutely breathtaking. Everything was set up beautifully, it was so clean and the backyard was amazing! Steps away from both the beach and all the beach bars/restauarants. You couldn’t ask for a better location! I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Weekend Stay

The house is in a perfect location. A couple blocks one way is the beach and a couple blocks the other way is the village. It was perfect for the weekend. I feel it is a stretch to say that the house sleeps 16 people. To be comfortable, I’d keep it to no more than 12 adults. The furniture is a bit rundown and dirty, especially the chairs in the kitchen. The beds are subpar, squeaky and worn. We read another review about a mice problem and we found mice poop in multiple places and drawers around the house. The best part of the house is the backyard. The pool and hot tub were great. We did have a couple mice swimming with us one night, which wasn’t ideal. There is no ping pong table like the pictures and description described. You need to bring most of your own supplies, especially toilet paper as they only provide you one roll per bathroom and no extra paper towels. Overall we had a good time. It worked for us for a few nights.

Don't be deceived - looks aren't everything!!!

Don't be deceived - looks aren't everything. We would NOT recommend this house to anyone! It is a health hazard. It has a mouse infestation and an ant infestation. Every morning during our week-long stay, we found fresh mouse droppings on the stove and countertops as well as the food pantry. Our daughter actually spotted 2 mice on the kitchen counter one night. We had to throw away many food items from the pantry because the mice chewed through everything. We reported all this to the management company and even sent them photos of the evidence, but they did nothing. They did not even respond. We should at least get a refund for all the food we had to throw away. The location, pool, and backyard are great, but that does not make up for the fact that the management company was irresponsible to not even acknowledge and address this serious health risk at this location, and we will be lodging a complaint with the Florida Department of Health in Sarasota.

Ok but could use some fixing

Great location!!! Perfect for beach and food access! There was a black crack in ceiling above one shower. Could use better beach chairs. Towels were rough and not soft at all. I would think for the amount you pay there would be better towels. Frustrating that they make you checkout at 10am.

Wonderful house

My family enjoyed staying at this house. It was very clean inside with lots of comfortable beds, good privacy with bedroom and bathroom layout. It also had a great location and backyard. We were however disappointed that the grill didn’t work and was falling apart with rust. We had prepared lots of meat to grill for our holiday dinner. Also, the ping pong table had a broken net and we couldn’t play. It was one of the reasons why we rented this house. Overall, we had a great stay, but these two broken items affected our vacation plans.

Not worth $15,000/wk

The positive: Very close to beach and Siesta Key, nice pool and patio area in back. Ample towels provided. Good amount of space indoors. When contacted, Property Management was polite and tried to get problems resolved. Not so positive: Prop mgt was called for various issues during the week ( we rarely contact prop mgt after check-in for rentals over the years). They always responded and would eventually handle situation. It may not have been that day - e.g. Comcast couldn’t come till day 3 to get WiFi going. Parking issue resolved same day . Note- Other renters in area didn’t heed Pool House private parking signs. The Pool House is nestled between single unit rentals on either side ( Tropical Breeze); we could hear and see constant coming and going of renters. This can be disturbing , particularly at night when you have children in your group trying to sleep. We assumed the the Pool House was on a street with other rental HOUSES. Because of close proximity to house, when going out our back door to pool one afternoon , there were 3 people at our pool area assuming it was available to them! This happened earlier in the day too. They left , of course, after realizing pool was not for their use, but still unsettling for us. Property management was called and had someone put a lock back on outside door ( May have been removed by maintenance , don’t know). Why isn’t a more permanent solution in place to provide safety? Better signage for privacy definitely needed. Other Suggestions: Thorough deep cleaning , updating of inside of house, change out stained cushions in dining room. Some other issues were annoying , but we didn’t want to keep pestering prop mgt. Providing a bigger picture showing location In vrbo description would be helpful to families. For the expensive price tag for a one week rental, expected a true “luxury” home.

Best time ever!

Second year at the yellow pool house. My family had a wonderful time! Great location. Property very clean and well cared for. Great location! Property management very attentive. We just had an amazing time. We might be back again in 2023. Had wonderful family time together. It was perfect.

Great location, great host.

2 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute walk to great restaurants and activity. Perfect location. We brought our 5 kids and a couple of their friends. Everyone had a great time. Great pool deck and hang out spot when you're not at the beach. Host was VERY responsive and had great communication when needed. Would stay again without doubt.

Unbeatable location

The house is in the perfect spot. It is a 2 min walk to the beach and a 2 min walk to the heat of downtown Siesta Key. There’s even a market within easy walking distance. Once you get to the house, there is no driving necessary.

The property is located right by the ocean on one side and the shops on the other side. My family had an amazing time together. The pool is awesome. Love the setup of the house. Everything should work for the price!

Hot tub didn’t work for half the trip. Outdoor lighting isotherm didn’t work or limited. Grill didn’t work the one night we wanted to use it and after it was corrected the outside area smelled of propane for 24 hours? Tv in master first floor had no access to cable and didn’t work the entire trip. Feel like we deserve something back from the host. You could not ask for a better location but disappointed in the overall state of the amenities.

Great Location, Great Property

We had a large crew. A family of 5, a family of 3, + 2 more friends. Plenty of room. The pool was great. The location splits the distance between the local main street of restaurants+ in one direction and the beach in the other direction. Ideal. I misplaced the check-in information and the property team gently reminded me where to look. There were some minor items we could not get working (lights and fans) that were cheerfully fixed. At the time, the WiFi throughput sometimes had trouble with remote summer classwork for 2 of the teens. I believe that has been improved since then. If we have a large group looking to stay in this area, we'll be back. Thank you!

We stayed the week of Thanksgiving, 6 adults and 4 teenagers. The house, yard and pool were beautiful and a SHORT walk to beach and town. Had everything we needed. They were very prompt in addressing any question. Would love to stay there again!

Overall great

Loved the outside area. One thing I did not like is people kept coming into our pool area thinking it was public. Also we had trouble with a couple TVs not working, which we did not like. The location is great for the beach and eatery. I would stay again!
