  • ¡Ingresa a tu propio paraíso tropical al ingresar a esta unidad del lado del golfo! El hermoso mural pintado a mano en la pared de la sala de estar le brinda la esencia de ser barrido. Esta unidad tiene baldosas en todas las áreas comunes y alfombras de color beige en las dos habitaciones. Con una cama King, 2 camas individuales y un sofá cama, se pueden acomodar 6. También disfrutará de muebles de cuero en la sala de estar, televisores y VCR tanto en la sala de estar como en el dormitorio principal, un reproductor de CD y la cocina actualizada. Aunque esta unidad está ubicada hacia la parte posterior del complejo, todavía tiene una vista increíble de la playa y las palmeras.

Great stay in 301GS

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at House of the Sun on/off over the past 30+ years. We have never had a bad room and this year was no exception. 301GS is fully equipped and comfortable. The mural on the wall is beautiful, the sofa is cozy and we love the washer/dryer in the closet as it opens up the kitchen area nicely. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and utensils needed to prepare homemade meals. There is even a Keurig along with a traditional coffee pot. The bedrooms are decorated nicely and provides lots of drawer storage. Definitely one of the most comfortable rooms we have stayed in. Thanks to the owners and House of the Sun for always accommodating a stay we never want to leave.

We like the washer and dryer in the closet. The furniture was comfortable. Only recommendation is to update the master comforter. The bed was hard as well.I was unable to locate security one evening to have the unit above spoken to. Seemed to be filled with a large group of kids that made noise until 3am. Disappointed the units are rented to 4 people (2 couples) requires a $20 guest pass.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here in 2010 to 2013 every year. Then we moved to Florida . when hurricane Ian hit we were out of our house for 9 days . We called house of sun and they said come on up. They were so nice and the place was still the same awesome place it was in 2010.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was amazing. The sectional is new (the pictures have old furniture). The kitchen comes complete with Snapware containers, full set of cookware, cooking utensils, eating utensils, toaster oven, strainers, etc. The unit itself is all tiled and has a washer/dryer, vacuum, broom, & mop. If you plan on eating in, there is plenty of storage for groceries. Lots of natural lighting and updated unit. The master bedroom bed was extremely hard. It has lots of closet & dresser space. The dresser & headboard are a wicker design & appears to be older. The TV is brand new but couldn't get the channels to work. I was able to cast from my phone. 2nd bedroom has two twin beds, large closet & nice dresser. We were able to put them together & use a kit to make it a king size bed. Perfect for the in-laws. Outside of that, this unit is closer to the street side across from the bar/club. The music annoyed the hubby more than anyone else. Baby and I slept through it just fine. There is a roof top area that we used for several of our family potluck dinners. We had about 24 people. Plenty of tables and chairs with nice view of the beach. We also used their game room for a night to hang out. The beach area is perfect. Water is nice, clear and warm all the time. Sand is soft and never gets hot. Sammy Beach Bums set up our umbrellas rentals daily. Highly recommend this service. Never used the pool, the water looked very foggy even at 6am. However other guests were using it all the time.The location is close to everything! Walking distance to ice cream, pizza, 7-11, marina, several restaurants. 5-10 minute drive to Publix, banking, shopping and more dining. We have stayed at other buildings on midnight pass road. This was one of our best experiences. We love that this building is not as large and has assigned parking. We & the family are already booked for next year!

Vacationing Experience 2022

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and friends have vacationed at Siesta Key for over 11 years. We’ve always stayed at House of the Sun and we vacation in large groups. This year we had 131 people that vacated here and my son got married on the beach, which was absolutely amazing. This year due to no canopies allowed on the beach and that we had to pay to use an umbrella and additional chairs over two per room, made it very discouraging. Also, I’ve never stayed in a bad condo, but this year our condo wasn’t the nicest, we had problems with our air conditioner not working properly and plumbing issues that gave our room a nasty smell all week. I don’t want to give a bad review because my family/friends really like staying here, but I think with the rental increase and additional payment changes this year, the condos should be kept and maintain to the highest quality. Additionally, I will say the management & staff here are very polite and accommodating;)

Siesta Key Fun 301GS

Reviewer Comments: House of the Sun unit 301GS is a beautiful condo with brand new furniture, plenty of kitchen utensils and cooking necessities, good amount of towels for our family of five and extremely clean! Best location in Siesta Key - close to bars, grocery stores and souvenir shopping. Fabulous beach! Great service from staff. Only complaint is that only 2 beach chairs per unit - should be at least 4 - had to rent additional chairs for the week. Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us. We had an amazing time! Hope to be back real soon!

Furniture and Crescent Bar

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was very nice but the furniture in the living room needs to be replaced except for one single power recliner. Everything else needs to go, the sofa bed is very old and disgusting along with the love seat and the other single recliner. The mattress in the master bedroom is hard as a rock, so uncomfortable, the beds in the guest bedroom need to be a little bigger. my daugthers feet were sticking out she is 16. Also the quality of the towels that the building supplies for the unit are very poor they felt like sand paper on your skin you can imagine how hurtful it was if you were sunburned, I had to go out and buy my own towels. The unit, other than that, was nice, spacious and very clean. Also the bar across the street kept us up till midnight on some nights and 1:00am on a couple others. The live music, the screaming and cheering of people drinking goes right through the unit. We called the police to put in a noise complaint on a Thursday night. Noise ordinance for Sarasota County is 10pm Sunday-Thursday and they go much later than that. I know this isn’t HOTS fault but maybe something can be done. We will stay here again but just in a unit closer to the beach. We were the closest to the street where the bar was.
