"The W&M House is simply outstanding. The suites are spacious, immaculate, well appointed, and very reasonably priced. While there is not much in the immediate area, the guest house is a short walk to many of the best spots in Kanazawa, whether the restaurant and nightlife district, the Omicho market, museums, and the gorgeous Kenroku-en Gardens. "The property is very close to Takayama train station and bus terminal. The owner is kind to send directions with photo in details so we can find the apartment easily. But directions to enter the room not very clear and it took us some time to enter the room. The room is very small with sharp corner of beds and easily knock on head when going down a step from bathroom area. Toilet paper has 2 rolls but each left with less then 1/10 of paper so we have to buy a roll of toilet paper from a...

"Stairs. I am 88 and stairs with luggage is a bad combo. The owner has done a very good job in keeping the property clean and comfortable. The location can't be beat but this is not a place for older folks."
