"We had trouble with key pad it took the last day to finally get use to it. There is poor communication about were the room is located. Ours ended up On second floor which if I had been aware would not have booked there (have ashma and have trouble climbing steps. ) small ice machine with all the guest it was always empty. IT ADVERTISED AS QUIET BUT WITH NOISEY GUEST TRAIN WHISTLE AND OLDER BUILDING it was not. I think with some matenance repairs it could be a nice place."

"This property was charming and quaint. For us two sisters wanting two separate beds, only the 3rd level attic type room was available, which entailed walking up 2 sets of stairs and the last one pretty steep. This was not quite relayed to us when booking. The property has two big pluses: it is only a quick walk to the Main street with lots of nice restaurants and shops AND only 10 minutes to the majestic Luray Caverns. Not sure if because of the time of year, but the patio was not cleaned...

"The grounds were not well-maintained. Grass was tall, in need of cutting, two dead decorative shrubs at the entrance of the door, large tree limbs on the roof and on the property grounds, would’ve liked to have enjoyed the gazebo, but the path was overgrown, needed mulching, gazebo not clean to sit in. We wanted to sit on the front porch, but it too was unkept-dirt and sticks. Ice machine was empty all the time. TV on the bedroom wall, but had to stream with buffering pauses. We booked a two...

"Cute room. Peaceful location (except 81 traffic, but didn’t bother me). I never saw the host but didn’t need to. Just a little confusing when I arrived and where to go and I figured it out. Bed was very comfy. Loved the larger fridge with small freezer compartment for my ice packs. My Jackson looks like a nice town but the best restaurants seem to close at 6 pm so plan accordingly. More of a daytime town. Would be excellent for a weekend getaway!"

"The place was spotless and very comfortable! Convenient location right on the main drag and easy to get to Harrisonburg. For whatever reason, I was expecting upstairs and downstairs and it was only upstairs. The listing even called it a "loft", so I don't know why I was expecting something different!
