"I found this hotel,friendly,welcoming, comfortable and clean. Breakfast gave plenty of choice including beautiful fresh fruit,all the British Breakfast components , yoghourts and cereals. "This is an expensive but good option in Stornoway. The staff were extremely helpful with late dinner arrangements which were due to a ferry cancellation."

The Royal Hotel
"Great view of harbour from room. Old fashioned decor, but well kept and very clean. Good dinner and lively atmosphere in the HS1 restaurant (even for a Sunday!). Central location in the town, with view of the castle and its beautiful gardens. Free parking at rear of hotel. Lots of little shops, cafes ..."
