This beach house was designed to capture breathtaking views of the waves rolling in at Separation Creek beach, just a leisurely two-minute stroll away. Set against the majestic Otway Ranges, the property offers a serene backdrop, where koalas can often be spotted resting in the eucalyptus trees. From the expansive deck, you can hand-feed wild parrots and Rosellas, while enjoying panoramic views of the ocean and the Great Ocean Road, which winds its way to Wye River.
The house comfortably accommodates eight guests, making it perfect for couples' retreats, family vacations, or reunions with friends. Cozy electric blankets warm the queen-sized beds, while reverse-cycle heating and cooling ensure comfort year-round.
The front coastal deck, extending from the kitchen and lounge area, offers stunning ocean views. The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing fresh catch or a hearty family roast, with a trusty dishwasher on hand to handle the cleanup. The upstairs lounge is a cozy haven, featuring a log fire with superb ocean views, a TV with DVD player, iPod docking station, CD player, and a collection of games and DVDs for all ages. A library of books is also available, and guests are welcome to borrow or exchange titles at the community library on the way to the beach.
Conveniently located just minutes from the Wye River Hotel and General Store, both offering spectacular views and delicious dining options, 2 Degrees is also a short 15-minute drive to the vibrant seaside town of Lorne, known for its quality cafés, gourmet restaurants, and fashionable boutiques. Apollo Bay, with its stunning coastal views along the way, is just 25 km.
With the Great Ocean Road right at your doorstep, 2 Degrees is the perfect base for exploring the region's top attractions, including the Otway Fly Treetop Walk, the 12 Apostles, and the Great Ocean Walk. For those seeking adventure on two wheels or two feet, the nearby Otway hills offer endless biking and hiking trails through breathtaking landscapes.

Great beach house with amazing views

Views of the sea from the living room and deck area are wonderful. Great location. Close to the beach and an easy walk into Wye River to the general store and pub. We had our dog with us and the downstairs bedroom/bathroom area with direct access outside was perfect. Well equipped kitchen which made it easy to cook meals in.

Lovely family Seaside Escape

Our family loved the space, the sunny deck and the gorgeous birds that visited us everyday. Close to the beach and the walk to the General store in Wye River is the perfect distance for our children. Highly recommend!

Relaxation and comfort

We have stayed at this property several times and find it extremely relaxing. It is great that we can have our friends stay and bring their dog - they stay downstairs and have their own living area. It is a home with everything you would expect in a home - cooking utensils, comfortable chairs, outside eating area, comfortable beds. It is close to the beach for those morning swims and then a short walk to the Wye River General Store for coffee. We will stay again!

Tired property, not worth the money and a bit smelly, musty

Pet friendly makes it not great for those who don’t have them. In spite of bathroom and bedroom renovations the kitchen and living area is tired. The dining room table was difficult to sit at because it is as high as a bar- bar stools are the dining room chairs.
